Binding the jump button to LZ has upped my shorthop game immensely. Breaking myself out of the "just mash shield dodge and buttons" mentality is hard as hell.
Liquid Snake only appears in regular Shop and Spirit Board.
I'm kinda dissapointed that if your spirit is an evolution or an exclusive summon, it can't have a spirit fight. I'm biased though since I got excited for what the Julius Belmont would entail only to find he was summon only.
I do like how the summons require a similar joke of combinations (i.e. to get the dog commander from star fox you combine colonel cambell and a nintendog )
While I can't see a character like Snake being lower than mid tier with the tools he has you do have to remember that this is literally the first major Ultimate tournament and the meta hardly exists. There
could be some brutal matchups against Snake that people just haven't discovered yet.
Gotta say, I really love some of the animation improvements in Ultimate. Even small things like Bowser holding his shell towards the opponent during his shielding animation, just feels a lot more natural.
Also speaking of which, is there a compilation of all the animation differences between Ultimate and the previous games? I actually wonder how many things were exactly changed.

Bowser completely dominated the Sm4sh competitive scene the first few months the game was out and dropped like 3 tiers after people had the game for longer than a few months. Just because a character is strong on the outset dosen't mean they're top-tier, it means people don't know how to play round them yet.
"I was wrong but I'm technically 99% right! I can't be adult enough to back out of my bullshit talk so I'll keep looking like a dummy and push the idea of a vague tier list not even two weeks since the release of the game!"

You sound like somebody that doesn't know why tier lists exist in the first place. Tier lists help create structur. Leffen's tier list may be out super early, but it's out because people are interested in his current thoughts about characters. If he thinks Snake is bad, Snake is bad to him right now. It'd be incredibly stupid to give people shit for ranking Yoshi low on Melee's tier lists before people started learning him, for example, because hindsight is 20/20. We don't live in a binary world, there's more than just "correct" or "incorrect".
Eh, when a new smash game (or any fighting game really) comes out the pros of the last one or generations down are always bumrushed by fans on their opinions. Leffen through his out there and got shit wrong (and I mean, I think a lot of his list is goofy) but it's just first impressions. People are treating it like he made a unchanging statement when it's just first impressions of character.
Give it like 6-7 months and see where the meta has placed characters and then you can start telling people to sit down.

Fuck me i cant manage to pass 30k GSP online, i struggle with link and pretty much all fire emblem fighter, and 3/4 of round contain at least one of them, and has interest playing swordaman like everyone , i play wario and jiggly.

I know what a tier list is and why its useful to those who actually have the skill to use them.
I am aware of the aspect of change, especially early on. My post wasn't to mock tier lists or the concept of it but rather point out the inability to just say "I fucked up" or "I underestimate X" instead of coming up with dumb excuse to save his own opinion.
Tier lists are good and bad, depending on the situations they are brought in. Like you said, they are mere guidelines to quickly summarize a character strengths and weaknesses, techniques and gimmicks and other things much more complex, like frame data in mind.
But that's what they should be and remain as: guides.
And even then, they are not fullproof because, only the characters that are being explored to the fullest are the ones that gain more in said list. If every character in the roster had the same amount of in-depth research put into them, then I would consider that tier list to be more viable. It would also reinforce the place of clearly better fighters, at the dismay of certain players who like characters placed lower.

I wish you could refight Spirit battles you already had, as well. Some are neat like the Trever Belmont gauntlet.
