k rool bair best spike
It's mainly an issue when it comes to choosing characters for the CPUs, since you can't easily summon their tokens like you can a player's. And while the game does highlight the tokens if you hover over them, I'm still not a huge fan of how I have to spend a few moments fishing around because I haven't memorized where someone is located on the CSS. I see what you're saying, though, as it isn't likely to be much of an issue if you're just playing with a bunch of humans.
wolf side b sweet spot
The final boss is so much to take in. I can't keep track of all the things I have to dodge on screen. I got so fucking close, literally a centimeter of health left on Dharkon but I couldn't do it. I also tend to panic whenever he or Galeem puts down a shit ton of those "X" or ""+" bombs.
There are some characters and percentages where you can guarantee a sweetspot from a throw, at the cost of your own life (unless you position perfectly)
You can destroy those x or + bombs by hitting them. Friendly reminder that you need to beat both together. If you leave one alive for too long after you defeat the other, you’ll get the bad ending.
Wait you STILL get the bad ending? I thought you just had to balance out the light and dark sides in the final zone to get the good ending. Oh god I have to fight both of them in their second phases lord help me.
There is no help, only suffering, as many before you, and many after
Landing Corrin's awkwardly placed side B spike
FYI, the person that did this was actually parodying shit tech names and came from the FGC, just wanted to see if anyone would fall for it (he plays Marvel, DBFZ and Street Fighter, even before this vid came out).
Granted, he also forgot how old he was on his birthday at one point.
BOTW doesnt run at 60 fps in any version of the switch. Its 30 on both no matter what you do.
Infact, early videos of framerate tests on the game actually found that the game's FPS dips less in handheld mode.
If you've ever actually opened up the switch dock, its quite literally a power cord with some USB plugs and an HDMI output.
He posted another one today. Gotta say these videos are tempting me to buy a Switch.

I got a Ridley Amiibo the other day and trained it to level 50.
We were on the Sonic Lost World stage and I up-threw him into an up-B and got a star KO on him. He leveled up at that exact moment and decided to respawn, side B me and slid me across the entire stage killing himself with spawn invulnerability still in effect. I don't know why he decided to use that specific move but I'm still giggling at it every time I think of it.
You can pay for it yearly at the price for around 20 bucks, it's very cheap as far as sevices go.
I also did the final zone balanced so I don’t know what happens if you only focus on one side. You still need to keep it balance in the final fight, including the boss rush.
I dunno if it's cause my TV is bad or old or what but my GOD, playing Ultimate on a low-response, Overdrive-enabled computer monitor feels fucking incredible by comparison
Are there hackers in this game already? I just had a lucas kill me as pikachu from the center of the stage at below 30% using PK Freeze.
So functionally speaking, the only reason the Switch runs games at lower specs in handheld mode is to keep the heat from going too high for the cooling and conserving power for the device?
Not sure if we've had an official™ roundup but who've you guys been maining so far?
I'm partial to the heavy fellas myself. Been trying Dedede a lot more and man am I loving how fat and slow he is, with his big impactful hits.
Mostly heat, yeah, and to avoid stressing the battery. Trust me, the Switch is MOSTLY battery on the inside. You don't want that thing swelling from just normal use.
When docked, the fans ramping up is mostly to draw chipset heat away from the system's internal power supply, while it charges the battery as fast it can AND pushes double the number of pixels as normal from the GPU. It is hell inside of there while you're playing Smash docked. Imagine having to HOLD that.
I accidentally one sided the boss rush, and all that happened was that the remaining side's boss bubbles shot out bullets that hurt you. Interesting that killing one without the other close behind ends with the bad ending for that respective side, I assumed but didn't want to risk it.
The only ones I don't suck donkey sack on so far is King K Rool and Young Link, the latter being seriously fun for me to play though Rool's gun is too good to turn down.
I think Peach might be decent for me so far but man... her side b attack sound gets annoying quick.
Pichu.
And a lot of my old faves like Fox and Dorf, who feel great in this game, and trying out a bunch of newcomers like Simon and Isabelle.
. . .
But mostly Pichu.
Ah, didn't know if the boss rush did anything if one-sided. Seems that the only thing that counts is the final phase.
Is it me or is there no use for Ridley's down-B? Getting a sweetspot is flashy as hell but there's way too much endlag to set anything up because the enemy recovers almost immediately.
Despite intending to return to my boy Young Link since he was my go to back in Melee I've been playing a shit ton of Inkling and a lot of Pokemon Trainer (75% Squirtle and 25% Ivysaur. Charizard feels way too slow for me to play and often times me switching to him very quickly results in a stock loss).
It's real purpose is that it does 60% damage when you land the sweetspot and while I haven't been able to find any actual follow-ups, it can still put your opponent into a position where they have to make a decisions and you can possibly capitalize on it.
Oh yeah also, almost every counter in the game will kill Ridley if they counter the sweetspot, no matter what % he's at.
Using it to punish unsafe landings or committed moves, mostly. Pro tip, never land neutral on the stage when Ridley is anywhere in the same post code as you. He WILL try it.
I’ve landed it on my buddy a good number of times. He just gives up a stick every time I do lol
