I wonder if they'll ever patch out camera controls being disabled during a final smash or killing blow
I'm loving Ultimate. Having such an enormous roster and lots of stages means there's always tons of fun match-ups to have and tons of ridiculous stuff that can happen, as me and my friends play with items and hazards on, it's all just casual. Still trying to pick a main though to get good with, and the jury is still out on whether or not it's gonna be Mr. Game and Watch, Bayonetta, or Wii Fit Trainer. I really like Bayo, but I feel like I'm still missing something with how to play her correctly. I just today learned she could wall jump and how to maximize her recovery, so there's still stuff for me to learn about her.
Saying more than has been announced would probably be the wrong move. I may be hopelessly optimistic here, but I don't think they'd tell us if they had more planned before it's finalized.
It's really just a guessing game at this point. We've only had one point of Smash DLC reference (Sm4sh), so it's kinda hard to know how they're gonna approach Smush.
now that i've finished WoL i can finally admit that whenever i close my eyes i see that fucking image of The Sheriff burned into my vision.

I love Sheriff's huge fuck off man chin. He exudes power as he struts around the air shooting at nothing half the time.
Fuck that Akira spirit battle. Even with Assist Killer, some of his moves has super armor and still hits like a truck.
Man I think it's dumb to call nerfs early
But I'm gonna be dumb and say that I think K.Rool needs to be turned down. It's actually stupid that he gets armor on literally everything he does. Like why is the crown throw such high priority that he has super armor on it and the crown pierces everything? I don't want to gimp him entirely but I don't get how you fight a character who just armors forever and has so many insanely free kill setups with his throw and dtilt.
Seriously it's like they looked at Dedede, decided to give him armor and take away all the windup on all of his moves without taking any of the power away. He completely invalidates my boy by having a real similar moveset with none of the flaws.
so, an idea that came up while me and some friends were playing earlier.
assuming square's more open to adding content with DLC versus base roster as i've heard they supposedly are, how would you guys feel about mii costumes of characters from final fantasy with music for midgar/spirits tied to them?
stuff like a tifa mii brawler or terra mii swordfighter, bringing music and spirits from their respective games.
Don’t forget that K. Rool has a stupid good recovery for being #2 heaviest fighter. It’s a shame that he’s the best heavy but poor Ridley is just “eh”.
Again, don’t expect anything else from Square-Enix. We couldn’t able to get the Geno Mii costume back so yeah...

How exactly am I supposed to get spirits that can combat other spirits with 13,000+ power? I've cleared nearly all of the spirit board and haven't found a spirit that can rival that power. Do I just do the spirit board or do I just dive into a fight with 9,000 power and do my best?
You don't need a legendary spirit to take on another legendary spirit, it just makes it a bit easier.
Thing you can do is pay attention to what spirits evolve. You might have something that can evolve into a legendary spirit.

You might consider working on how you articulate yourself if you can't even present a crude recreation of a meme without whining that another artist did it wrong first.

the game doesnt drop frames when it lags(atleast I havent experienced it)
but yes, a game becomes less responsive for you when your foe has shit internet, thats how it works, and no nintendo magic can fix this

Yeah, that happened to me also where he follow me far back amd he couldn’t recover. Still, he kicked my ass plenty pf time before I won.
Alright, but a lot of people would have said the same thing about say, a character from an extremely popular Playstation exclusive rpg getting in and look at us now
