A joke being ruined by an artstyle isn't something brand new and it happens all the time on the internet. People could say the same about my drawing if they wanted, since it was literally just a tracejob of Tyler1 and the girl but giving them aspects of the characters. But I did that because I thought it was funnier. As an actual artpiece the original is fine, but I don't think it worked for the joke.
It's when people on here say shit like "well it reads like youre actually a fucking asshole that hates that artist and wants to stomp on puppies" because I even mentioned the original art (to give mine context) that I take issue with. Maybe I did come off as rude, but I literally just posted the art thinking "haha man i really hope people think my version is funny because it's more realistic and goofy and kind of weird", not thinking "oh man i fucking hope i can debate random fp people on whether i was insulting the original artist". Not everything, especially not everything I post, is an invitation to get upset or argue.
I'm not targeting you, mind. You did the reasonable thing and, y'know, responded like a human being, instead of saying stupid shit like I'm whining about the art.

Duck Hunt was on that list, but after playing him a while in training, nothing feels different?
It appears to all be bug fixes. Besides it's way too early for balance changes.

Welp, I am missing a space to complete WoL. Got all endings, found everything within all dungeons... I guess it'll be a rogue spirit at the beggining area, or a chest in the Strange Dimension, but fuck, this is annoying.
As a aside do continue spoiler tagging WoL, I know several people that haven't played through it all that want to and spoiling the second map or any of the cool events that happen is a insanely dickish thing to do.
It's almost like people have jobs and a life. Fuck people like that, man.
Does the game give you any hints on the whereabouts of leftover spirits / stuff you missed towards the 100% when you finish the WoL story?
For now I'm only seeing stars on the warps whenever you 100% those zones but on the overworld there's no indication unless it's fighters.
If there isn't anything I hope Sakurai adds the spirits of Waldo and Carmen Sandiego because holy fucking shit

Folks, today I had the occasion to play three hours of Super Smash Bros ultimate.

The game is absolutely fantastics, and even thought I understood absolutely nothing (kept missing my final smash and doing the wrong attack because this game has lots of depth and each character
got so many attack) I have had tons of fun playing Samus, Pacman, ROB, Ryu, Cloud and finally my favorite out of the bunch, as I predicted, was Mr. Game and Watch. How can anyone dislike the little
man? He is so great and funny to play and watch. Even thought I lost most of my round against my friend since he had a nintendo pro controller looking like a gamecube controller, I enjoyed my time!
This may be one of the only game I had fun playing even when losing.
Yeah, don't try to play the game more seriously with Joy-Cons, especially if you have bulky hands. Try to get a Pro Controller or a Gamecube Controller. I've been using the 8bitdo's Gbros Adapter that recently got released and its been working amazingly so far. No input lag so far at all in the slightest, has a Capture and Home button.

What in the holy fuck is the Giga Mac spirit battle... one fucking punch can take 40% of your HP.
So my post was an spoiler? Geez, good thing the full roster was revealed before launch, otherwise discussion about unlockables would be grating.
So far the worst spirit fight for me has been, by far, The Boss.
Never mind that the floor is poison, she gets her already astronomically high stats further buffed early on, or that the CPU feels like it's something past level 9. When I'm on a bit of a roll and she gets her fucking Final Smash that's near unavoidable to kill my streak, that's when I lose it.
final smashes are awfully pathetic in stamina battles tbh
Any advice to, well, memorize the input well? I've been confused a lot and during the confusion I always mess up my attack and button. Some time I completely mess up my recovery and it's very sad
because I then proceed to pathetically die.
It's one of my favorite's thematically.
My strat was DK w/ the spirit that starts you with backshield while stocking up on antipoison spirits. Throw her off the ledge, hit her once to make her need her upB, grab the ledge, and when she does her upB, it'll clank with the back shield and keep her from getting close enough to grab, thus falling to her death.
The worst one so far for me is the 9/18 volt fight with incineroar, villager, and the sherrif AT that does all the fucking work or Metal megaman x8 dr wily
Non-Smash Ball Final Smashes have the damage output reduced, pretty much.

The thing is in that outside of Stamina battles they will still essentially guarantee you a stock if ya hit em' at even 60% - that's insanely good. Meanwhile in Stamina battles they take off 15% at max :V
First thing, go to settings and controls and turn off Tap to Jump. It'll make some attack easier to execute and not mess up, especially grounded UpB and tilt attacks. I suggest you learn the fighter you want to use first on how they work so go to training and mess around with them and try all their moves, how far they recover, how long it takes to perform an attack, ect. Then pit yourself with CPUs.
Anyone got any tips for the 9-volt and 18-volt spirit? It's probably the hardest spirit for me right now. I can't move because incineroar and the Villager keep pummeling me into those stupid insta-kill galaga ships.
timed battles in WoL are shitty, i have an actual close fight with the boss since im using a grab spirit (13,950), my highest attack spirit is only 11,467. so the battle is pretty fair and fun. since its timed though it runs out and i lose, really goddamn dumb.
Heavy fighter like DK will do fine and he has some super armor moves. Get an Assist Killer spirit and get rid of the Sheriff ASAP. Item Gravitation spirits can help also so you can get those Boss Galaga ship to use against them.
Cloud is also easy to gimp, and was easy to gimp in Smash 4, yet he topped the tier lists only upped by Bayo.
