AT KT
Is the KT siege that's up right now not AT?
not sure about PS4 but I don't think it is on PC yet.
It doesn't exist on PC yet, for Console you need to fulfill certain conditions during the KT hunt to get her to go into rage mode (arch tempered)

Console only I'm guessing?
I wish I could care, but it's not for PC.
PC is version is coming "Soon"
Well at least we got beetle layered armor today.
That nekker felyne armor is horrible and I hate it.
Color me surprised. I figured it'd be like a griffon we fight or something.
I finally got one attack jewel from chungus farming/capture. The drop rate is stupidly low: MHW Info Dump by @Mhhexhexhex
You can get a free attack jewel if you save the trapped Pukei and keep it alive during the fight with the Leshen in the Witcher quest, apparently. You may need to do that AND fight the Gajalaka Chief in the same run, though. I haven't done it myself, yet.
Alright, what the fuck, why am I having so much trouble with the Teostra the Infernal quest, when I've done SOS and others with the same monster and NEVER had any problems
The Witcher isn't out yet on PC yet though, right?
Are the Demondrug, Armorskin or demon/armor flute items in MH:World?
Everything but the flutes/horns should be in MHW. Can't remember if they were a thing in previous games but I think horns/flutes have been replaced with demon/armor powder akin to lifepowder.
If I may throw in a dumb question... Does using stamina-reducing things on a monster up your chance of capturing it?
Such as like KO and Exhaust damage? If so, in a way, it doesn't make them easier in a sense of like capping sooner or needing fewer tranq bombs, but an exhausted monster will stay in a trap much longer, which can give you a chance to wail on it and win if you misjudge when it's ready.
I see, are there any big plans for adding more monsters? Generations was bursting at the seams with the amount of monsters it had (though some were "palette swaps"), and that number painfully reduces when you jump to World - which I understand perfectly, designing monsters for a 3ds game vs a platform where there's insanely more detail.
We're not getting anymore new monsters until the release of Iceborne (unless you count Leshen who's not out on PC yet). So no new stuff beyond Arch-Tempereds until Fall, unfortunately.
I feel even without new monsters I have more than enough content to tide me over. As a PC player I still have a few events that i'm patiently waiting for them to port, but just building and smashing monsters is so consistently satisfying. This will be my first MH where i'm not just hammer-bro'ing the whole thing, so I'm taking to time to become at least adequate with every weapon.
I'm very curious, has anyone here defeated a Silver Rathalos or Gold Rathian on Generations?
I have. Gold Rathian is easier to me simply because she stays on the ground and so can be evaded the easiest. For Silver Rathalos, keep the damn thing flash bombed as often as you can, it simply will not stay on the ground if you don't.
Every time I try to fight those monsters in multiplayer, the other players get a small taste of how painfully difficult the monster is and just leave in the middle of the fight. This happens every single time. Even those with a higher HR than me. Uuuuggghh...
Those two have a bigger weakness to being toppled than most. For the both of them, their largest hitzone is their back, which can only really be reached when they're toppled. This means that mount-spam is more effective than most. Take an IG or use Aerial style and mount it as much as you can. For both of them, if you cannot hit the back, attempt to hit the wings. If you cannot hit the wings, hit the legs. The heads have low hitzones and, assuming you're HR (because it's Generations and not GU), will bounce on anything less than white. They will open a very large hitzone if you can break the head, but getting there is difficult. For Gold Rathian only, the tail tip (the barb-y bit) is also a weak-point. Not as much damage as the back, but still enough, and enough that it will trigger Weakness Exploit. For Silver Rathalos, the wings have a higher hitzone than the tail, so they should be hit instead. Flash pods are very effective against the both of them, Silverlos in particular, because they still work as normal. Compared to their base versions, they are immune to dragon (previously the most effective element) but are now much more vulnerable to water and thunder.
yeah plenty, had to do so to grind out the Fire Emblem outfit and trust me, the event ones are far harder than the bog standard ones.
I used SnS which got coatings in MHXX so I just kept hitting their heads like how I did with normal Rathians and Ratholos lol, especially for Gold Rathians since shes mostly got the same moves. For Silver Rathalos, flash him every time he roars, and for Gold Rathian, flash after she does the tail flip move.
I've been trying to kill Behemoth just once on PC and it's taken me roughly 20 attempts because of how dumb some fucking teammates are. They don't bring flashpods at all, and refuse to flash unless someone else is. That and my entire team leaving because I disconnect from the session every 5 minutes unless I have my own personal session. What a mess. I'm not even going to try with Extremoth.
I had similar issues. Never bothered with Extremoth either, might be worth trying with a team in some Discord though
