Unpopular(?) opinion: Yoshi's Island DS was a pretty nice game with a good soundtrack, just because it wasn't a masterpiece doesn't mean it was a bad game
Yoshi's Island DS was a game where the OST sounded like it was designed for toddlers while inexplicably being combined with having difficulty approaching Kaizo difficulty levels for completionism when YI is usually already considered one of Nintendo's harder titles.
The game is fine except for the lack of creativity (and the creative aspects themselves are questionable) and the OST, but it feels like it has an identity crisis of if it is trying to appeal to beginners or people that have already beaten thoroughly the first game that none of the other Yoshi games have.
I liked Woolly world tbh with you.
looks like TSA has a perfect score now

nice
Man, not having any voice acted cutscenes in Travis Strikes Back feels like a crime. The main reason I fell in love with the first game was Travis' snark and the voice acting in general. I really hope we at least get NMH 1 and 2 on the switch, because I'm really craving it now.
I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times in these threads already, but is it safe to use any USB-C charger on the Switch when it's not in the dock or is the best bet to get the official one?
It is unsafe to use any charger except the official Nintendo one because Nintendo uses very nonstandard voltages and a rando charger can brick your device. This may only happen in sleep mode so if you undock the Switch when you're done with it you might be okay but it's your console you're risking.
You will be safe with a decent cable, don't go cheap. It's just 3rd party docks which break the switch.
Yes
Safely Charging the Nintendo Switch – Switch Chargers
there have been 0 reports of issues with third party chargers, just docks.
Been playing the heros tale or whatever it is called in BotW. Kind of Meh. Redoing stuff. Nothing I haven't done or seen before
YI DS was worse than hard, it was tedious. Every bonus level that was not unfairly hard was some kind of labyrinth or mechanism-based gimmick (that one where you had to create a multy-story bridge using baby Warios magnet, ugh) which quickly worn out its welcome.
Kind of a crosspost, but Splatoon was selected to have a display at the V&A museum in London, and is the only Nintendo game there.

Has anyone tried using bluestacks to emulate the nintendo switch app for voice chat? What are the odds I get my account banned for logging in on an emulator?
I've got my switch set up to my second PC monitor and my audio mixed through my PC but I'll be damned if I have to do some fuck shit with my phone in order to banter on mario kart.
Nintendo has no way of knowing whether or not your phone/device is emulated or not. As long as you aren't doing anything to the switch itself you're fine
Good. Splatoon has one of the most unique styles I've seen in a game.
Just ran into a bug in Travis Strikes Again where every time I jumped, I died. The only way out of it was to quit the game and lose like two hours of progress. Yeah, I don't think I'm ever gonna touch this thing again.
