not really liking this aesthetic
The transition from hand-drawn art with one of the best Link designs into an art style that tries to be similar to but captures nothing I like about LA's sprites hit me like a hammer to the ribs.
That was in the original game as well. There's arguably a reason for that one.
I like the art style tbh. It captures the GB look perfectly with it's chibi asthetic and link kinda looks like a Mother character :v
There was a rumor that this was originally a 3DS remake instead, so I guess they chose to upscale it for the Switch.
I'm pretty happy with that direct.
A lot of things on this direct had pretty nasty frame rates. I thought they were supposed to convince me to buy them
For me personally I thought the direct was pretty eh. Then again I don't really play Bayonetta/Fire Emblem and such. Though despite not playing LoZ I do think the new Link's Awakening remake looks great.
The artstyle of Zelda reminds me of a mobile game, which is bad.
Even though only FE interested me, I'm still happy with what we got to see. Still waiting for that Tellius re-release tho
No Prime Trilogy or Animal Crossing, and funnily enough no Pikmin 3 or Star Fox Racing. But hey, we got Super Mario Maker 2, with heavily advertised slopes.
This year for Nintendo is insane.
If you told me last weak that there would be tetris battle royale i'd have laughed at you. They told me this week and I still laughed at them.
