I pulled out my old Gamecube controllers and suddenly I'm properly doing my inputs now. Does anyone have a respected seller of replacement parts for control stick rubber? Mine have worn away through the years.
Regarding My Music, what I would've loved is a "set all songs to max/zero" option, because aside from a small handful of stages, I really couldn't give a shit what song is playing.
Like 90% of my stages have every song set to max because I enjoy the wide variety available, and only hearing the same one or two songs gets real boring after awhile.
The Smash 64 stages are the exception, hearing anything but the original tracks when playing on them just feels wrong to me.
A ganondorf versus ganondorf match is some of the most fun things you can have in smash. It's like two bros at the gym working out together in a completely heterosexual fashion.
Is it worth waiting for the official nintendo GameCube adapter to come back into stock or are there any offbrands that are good? I hesrd about some input lag problems with some of them and obviously want to avoid that.
Ganondorf dittos are my favorite thing in Smash Ultimate so far.
At least you can select what song you want to play before fighting just by opening the music menu and clicking it at the stage select. THAT'S a good quality of life feature right there. Before I found My Music tucked away in the options menu I thought that was it's replacement.
My IRL friend and I literally spent almost 2 hours just playing Captain Falcon dittos in Sm4sh. I'm hoping we're gonna have another session like that now that we both own Ultimate.
Oh please, Falcon versus Ganondorf, Omega Gaur Plains with intense guitars in the background. Hypest match ever.
If it's not a mirror match, it's not really a fair fight, considering a Ganon that can land hits will basically KO the Falcon before he can even do anything.
from my knowledge, mayflash is a pretty decent offbrand, most of the cheap ones work but may have issues (i have a cheapo one that has one of the ports non-functional on switch, though it works fine on wii u)

I have one of these and so far it has impress me a lot. I had no input lag on my end, and if there's any I think it's the game, especially online obviously.
I genuinely stopped using a GC controller for the Pro Controller in this Smash. I never switched away from it until this one, but damn it feels good.
If you have a Pro Controller, don't feel like you require a GC one. It may not have the divots for the sticks but the buttons feel better to press imo.
Its more that I have a bunch lying around but yeah I'll def check out the oro controller!
Still missing my Nunchuk, but I'm making do with the Switch Pro Controller. I actually found the Joy-Con Grip a little finicky for my tastes.

Another thing that I love is Battlefield and FD sharing song pools because that means I can play that sick FD remix from Sm4sh on the correct stage at long last
