Holy balls, looking at the wiki, the entire soundtrack to every Smash game is in there. We've even got SSBM's Break the Targets theme back!
About the only omissions I can see are Brawl's remix of the How to Play theme and the Subspace: Step 2 track from SSE.
This is insane. Many of these tracks we haven't seen since their original games.
The entire SSB64 is in, as a bonus once you beat World of Light you can set the original character select theme as the main menu music.
Yeah, I noticed that we finally get a clean version of Melee's intro theme. A few other omissions I noticed are the actual original version of Melee Battlefield (it uses the Brawl arrangement), and only having the Wii U version of Smash 4's menu theme (although the 3DS version is just an arrangement with a few less instruments).
An interesting error that was also in Smash 4 is that the Cruel Brawl track returns but is once again under the title of "Cruel Smash", despite being based on the Brawl theme specifically. Especially since the Multi-Man Melee tracks' names remain intact.
To this day, I still adore Katie's Smash comics. Been reading them for a long while.
There's something weirdly charming to me about the idea that all the fighters are just living together backstage, dealing with eachothers' quirks.
She does a great job of portraying them as just characters instead of over-exaggerating their personalities to that of just ""haha lel XD so randum!!!" humour. Also her artstyle is very clean, distinct, and appealing, which is more than I personally can say for Brawl in the Family, and the jokes she tells are actually pretty funny. She just seems like a cool dude.
Though, it's gonna be harder to tell who's Lucina and who's Marth in her comics, she's drawing them so similar.
Knowing her, that's probably gonna be the butt of a joke at some point

I don't know what ever inspired them to come up with this bit but whatever it was earned them a throne in the comedy hall of fame.
It’s also missing the brawl renditions of the other melee stage themes, which is a shame cause I honestly prefer the brawl version of these two tracks compared to the melee originals.

How the fuck did people manage to marathon this in the first few days...? It's so. Fucking. Long.
Every fucking time I see a whole new overworld I just feel exhausted with the thing.
Maybe it's because I've been grinding through large chunks of it at a time but I can't imagine going back through this on hard
I haven't played any of Marth's games but this comic hits harder now that his Japanese voice actor has been replaced by Yuri Lowenthall's bland-ass performance.

So I finally got to the climax of World of Light and - wait, it's Master Hand and a bunch of other characters I gotta kill, but where's my character?

For a story that was playing it plenty safe that was quite the appreciated turn.
How the fuck do you play Wario? His moveset seems fun as hell but I have no idea how to use it.
Queueing for 2v2 has been a really interesting experience.
I would say 1/10 games are actually 2v2
