id argue the people which constantly want to see racism in everything are likely the problem here
but to move on: fuck battlefield why do people like it so many approach options are just gone when it comes to aerials
People like Battlefield for quite a few reasons. It has very balanced blast zones that aren't obviously too big or small in either direction, it's considerably friendlier to characters who lack projectiles than Smashville or FD since it lets them actually approach, it allows for advanced tech involving layered platforms like laddering, it allows for mixups that involve performing aerials while slipping down through the platforms, it allows heavies to better control space by poking up through the platforms, it lets primarily grounded characters like Mac actually deal with floaties like Jigglypuff... Overall it just presents a wealth of options so broad that unless your entire game plan is projectiles, you can probably formulate SOME kind of plan around its layout regardless of who you pick.
Like, not even to relate to the actual point of the previous topic because there's no point in it continuing in that regard, but I find it hilarious that the community can simultaneously claim that two, wildly different leg attacks are incredibly similar (one is a flurry of kicks done in quick succession . . . . the other is literally just holding out a foot like a generic attack that literally any fighting game could be expected to have), yet would likely be the first to swear up and down that Kirby and Jigglypuff aren't heavily derivative of Fox's moveset.
Im a biased fuck given I play dedede but so many options are just gone, you can't do any fullhop aerial attacks without landing on those stupid platforms and don't let me get started on platform campers, being mostly anime swordboys (which you can't exactly properly fight back against or punish quickly because if you do youll land on a platform )

Not gonna bother reading the thread since I imagine it's people just towing the line, but it's nice to see someone remembering this when the game leaked.

apart from Twintelle (that some users there suggest, even though she didn't exist when Sakurai decided on the characters) and Rodin, there aren't that many options to include black characters in it. And they need to work as fighters.
I also like how they focus so much on black characters when talking about diversity. As if asians, indians, etc. don't exist.
Little Timmy just got Smash and is playing it in his room that has 3 walls between it and the router without ethernet. So yeah, the bad connections are going to come up more often now.
Because to these people, black people are the only people that matter. It's a double standard that gets people nowhere.
Devil's advocate, but I believe that was their point, since Nintendo lacks black characters. It's also not like there is a low amount of Asian characters to begin with in the game.

I am with Ganondorf because no one knows how to fight Ganondorf for some reason so it was super easy. I've won like 15 matches with the dorf boy and I think I've only lost like 2.
Can't seem to get it with any other character though.
