TOs seem to be anemic to the idea of having a stage with small blast zones like Wario Ware. People are quick to point out that people kill very early on that stage but the same thing happens on Yoshi's
Story in Melee and that stage is a neutral starting stage. I personally don't see the problem in having Wario Ware at least be a counterpick.
Having starters with a low ceiling or narrow sides (not both though) should be perfectly acceptable now that stage selection happens FIRST
Pick your character to take advantage of the stage that was picked, or to try and nullify your opponent's attempted use of it against you
Warioware is banned because the blast zones are stupidly close together iirc
when kirby inhales, press a dir for that direction's special. other buttons/ wait for neutral
modders take notes
Part of the testing that has to go into that is making sure Kirby doesn't have some broken 0 to death combo or kill confirm with any character's neutral b combined with the rest of his moveset
Testing that for every special move in the game would be an absolute nightmare
this kills the sakurai
Kirby already requires extra dev time just to be able to copy a neutral special (he needs the hat, the ability implemented, animations, etc for every single character in the game).

I'd be fine with some of those stagelists if they limited themselves to only one animal crossing stage. In the sea of good picks we really don't need 2 of them

4 players is the max when online. Probably for the best, since from what I've seen 4 players has almost guaranteed connection stability issues with just 4. 8 players might just turn into a laggy mess no matter how many ethernet adapters you throw at it.

Seems like the community is overly worried about jank like ladder combos in 4 showing up in Ultimate, which is unwarranted. You NEED some sort of smaller stages if you want the game to be fair to all characters, just because one character has an option to kill at 40 on one stage is NOT a good reason to disallow it. Make it a counterpick at worst, or let it be neutral and any smart player will know to ban it against a character that can pull that kind of jank. It seems like they're overwhelmed by the amount of options or something, cause the stage lists ive seen are waaaay too conservative, especially for the start of the game where its actually important and a good thing to test out iffy stages.

Just had a 10,000,000 IQ moment against the AI as Mewtwo while trying him out
Noticed the AI isn't very good at predicting teleport, so I started moving around with that more, and wound up teleporting back and forth around a Lv.9 Chrom until he stopped moving for a sec, and I running grabbed him into an offstage spike combo
Can't save replays in training though, so fuck me I guess
I always get more mileage out of aerial teleports, since they're just a better airdodge.
We definitely need the 30 sec video record function for Ultimate.
Come to think of it, how do I get the clips I've converted to video off the system? I haven't found a way to upload them. Are they on the MicroSD? Why aren't they with the rest of my system clips then?
They're saved to the "Extra" folder on the SD card.

As someone who's not that familiar with Metroid, Ridley's body reminds me of a xenomorph only just with wings. And that's fucking terrifying to think about.
Metroid was very heavily inspired by the Alien movies so it makes perfect sense
They also made Metroid a girl after seeing how awesome Sigourney Weaver as Ripley was in Alien.
