World of Tanks - Tier 8 Is Completely Balanced Edition - Games

I played ground forces like mad when it first came out, grinded up to the panther and the tiger and completely ditched the game, I only play War Thunder now when I get an itch to fly around in arcade battles, because to me thats what war thunder is all about I just couldn't handle the pacing of the game, Though I like that it feels a lot more realistic with the way how tanks work, the actual armour penetration rather than pure RNG and the fact you could customise the shit out of the exterior. The actual gameplay side of the game to me was just toooo slow, it felt like it was just a game of malinovka every time, where each team sits both side and just wait till one of them pops up and everyone shoots the shit out of them I can imagine its evolved a lot in the past few years, I played it again a few months back, got hooked for a day or two then just got bored of it. For some reason world of tanks just has a better experience over all (as sad as it is), its more twitchy and feels a lot more rewarding, and the quicker games just means I can shoot over to another vehicle and play a completely different matchup. I guess different strokes for different folks, but I find myself going back to WoT waaaay more than War Thunder, which is strange to me since War Thunder Ground Forces is kinda what I always wanted WoT to be

Is it viable to play that game PvE only? imo I've never really felt WoT was "rewarding" except in certain situations. I played the game along with Orkel waaaay back in the beta back when they gave you I think it was like ~1000 gold a week for free. Maybe it's because I'm garbage but I just found everything frustrating and then when the game exited beta and the servers were wiped I only managed to slog my way back to a Panzer 3 before I threw in the towel. Keep in mind I ended the beta with a bunch of shit with a Tiger 2 as my highest tier tank which is peanuts today. Still, I do fondly remember getting into KV derp gun squads and fucking people up, that was fun; I grinded Russians just to get it iirc. In fact I recently re-installed the game because I forgot about the beta wipe and was like "I'm so glad I won't wave to grind my way back to a Tiger 2!" only to met with a bunch of low tier tanks and a couple old ass premiums. So yeah, I immediately uninstalled the game because I didn't wanna waste my time and raise my blood pressure. At least to me, in WT when you get ass blasted out of nowhere it doesn't feel cheap due to the realism, kill-cam, and being able to fucking respawn. In WoT when you get one-shot and killed by an invisible git it makes me wanna put my fist through my monitor. But hey, I can only speak for myself.

Same here. WT doesn't have two of the three things WoT has that makes me hate it so much (invisible tanks and indirect deaths) and it's vehicle selection scratches that historical itch that WoT hasn't scratched in years but I just find it so difficult to play. My friend who has played thousands of games of WoT picked it up to try it with me and almost dismissed it out of hand, uninstalling after two short sessions where we just got obliterated. Depends on what you consider viable. It's playable but quite repetitive. Personally it's not something I play continously; I'll play for a week or two then just sort of ignore it for a few weeks then come back later. They merged the servers so PVE wait times are never over a minute and only rarely longer than 20 seconds or so. The downside of this is that you also deal with the Russian playerbase which ranges from literally bots to decent at best. It's actually comical how drastic the quality of rounds became post-merge.

Since when is there a rental camo system? 75k credits for 100 battles for camo. Why didn't I know this before? God damnit, this makes camo worth it.
