Same thing with Bayo 3. Pretty sure this direct is the first time they've ever said anything about it since the reveal trailer in 2017. Maybe they've taken a bigger bite than they can chew or maybe Astral Chain has just taken up a lot of that development time.

and the vocals are no longer 150% the volume of the rest of the mix which improves the feel a lot it'll do

DMC5 Trailer spoilers

I'm getting too giddy for DMC5 but it's starting to hit me that western journalists that defended DmC to the death are going to give it some bad words because it's not DmC2. Still confused to this day why they tried so hard to defend the game and shit on all the fans.

Even though i enjoyed all of them, DmC really isn't the best game of the series . It's a fun game but it had a lot of potential to be a much better experience. Its combat system while simplified was still pretty good and i thought all the weapons were fun to use. However, The problem was that most enemies weren't very challenging compared to original series and some enemies were color coded, which forced you to use different weapons and ruined the fluidity of the combat. It also didn't help that the story and character writing was really bland and sometimes painful to watch. The scene where Vergil shoots the womb of Lilith with a sniper rifle is what comes to mind with how painful it can get. It's better than what most people say it is but it definitely isn't "one of the best entries in the franchise."

Just a heads up, Leaks for the game have been propping up now so it would be best to avoid most of the web right now. Dmc5 is out. Intro credits is already amazing.

I'm 2 hours in. Red orbs are incredibly generous if you don't blow them on health items or continues (really don't need to do the latter, checkpoints are before every boss fight already...). I'm going to sleep so I don't fuck up my sleep schedule, but this game is joyous to play. PC performance-wise, I'm maintaining max settings minus motion blur (also turned down shadows to High from Ultra) at 70-80 FPS outside of some cutscenes on an RX 580 at 4K and a 60% resolution scale. (Real res falls between 1080p and 1440p.) On my 27-inch 4K monitor with these settings, the game looks fuckin' gorgeous. I'd say it's pretty well-optimized for the level of visuals being output.
