I don't have a PSVR but this might help.

I don't know what the fuck happened, but I come back to VR after like two weeks of not using it and am having a ton of problems, specifically, the Oculus software is being a bag of dicks and taking priority over games, or just not loading games, or when a game is loading, is showing oculus home instead of the game. It seems to be completely random and it's beginning to piss me off
Yeah I've already read up on that, was more hoping to get some reviews from people who have already done it, namely wether or not its worth it to go through the effort
Though I guess most people here prolly would've just gotten an actual pc vr set instead

Super bunny hop did it, its eh at best tbh
Expert levels in beat saber are completed.
Hard mode now feels like little baby mode.
Expert+ songs are impossible.

A friend pulled me into Iron Wolf and I was genuinely surprised, the claustrophobia goes away after a few mins and I ended up spending 6 and a half hours straight in the open world mode where you selectively hunt down targets and have to manage your resources including fuel and ammunition, returning to port on occasion for a resupply.
We had a situation where we were going to take down a battle ship for the first time, I had the sub cruise towards the battle ship at periscope depth (first mistake) not realising about the three electric motors we had running for propulsion (pretty loud). It wasn't long until the battle ship realised that we were out here and existed, sonar pings were coming in hard and fast. A 10 minute struggle of avoiding torpedoes and heavy mortar fire, almost sinking in the process mind you, left us running back north at full speed on the surface to get outside of mortar range while also dealing with a bunch of planes that had been called in / spotted us on the surface. I've never clenched my ass so hard in a VR game. We had run a whole 3km north away from the battle ship and dove down to 130 meters we the plan to go under and behind the battle ship for a sneak strike, running on just a single engine this took forever to get in range, we even had all the lights in the sub turned off to save battery power so we would not have to surface as much to charge the battery up, personal torches gave us most of the light to keep an eye on our heading. Kept the hydrophone turned on every now and then to make sure we where still on track to intercepting the target. Finally we surfaced to charge our battery after running it dry; we found our selves directly behind the battle ship with a perfect firing solution for all of our torpedoes to fire at the same time. Fired off all four torpedoes and held at periscope depth as we tracked them straight into the astern, all were successful along with a raging fire on the deck of the battle ship. We dove down past periscope depth went down to the torpedo room and frantically reloaded the tubes, going through the usual process of pumping the water out of them, unlocking, loading, locking and finally dumping water back into the tubes for the final time. I had my friend set all of the targeting computers to active and man the periscope and the targeting computer as we prepared for the last ascent. I purged the ballast tanks as well as setting the hydro planes to -10 percent for the fastest ascent possible, I waited at the hatch that would take me to the 88mm deck gun. We ain't gonna pull out of this one until its dead. The hatch's green light came on so I got onto the deck, aimed the cannon and peppered the now turning battle ship's side with 88mm shells, four more of our torpedoes went off as I tracked them through the water guiding my friend who was making manual corrections to keep them on target. All four hit the mid section on the right side perfectly sending the battle ship down with a nice nose dive into the water. Meanwhile I'm gunning the AA machine gun on the front of the sub as the same planes from earlier had spotted us again, I got back inside & flooded the ballast tanks as we noped the hell out of there to deal with 6 leaks that the planes had put into us.
Words cannot understate how good this game is, especially we you only have you and one other dude running a 4 man sub.
Expert mode with faster speed is the way to go. I've gotten so used to it with some songs that I find them more difficult on slower speed.
To be able to do Expert+ maps I just played Nuketime's Overkill map over and over again until I beat it. When I finally did I was a pro.
Anyone here use the TPCast wireless module for the Rift?
I get bored of beat saber so fast, idk why
Install SyncSaber and have it sync the curator recommended feed. You'll have new decent maps added to your game automatically every day.
F8 keynote at 10 AM PDT tomorrow. Expect Quest (and probably Rift S) launch details!
Been playing a game called "out of Ammo" on PS4.
(your typical, place down structures, shoot bad guys with the added gimmick that you can posses your soldiers on the ground and take direct control shoot in first person from their point of view.
It's a fairly interesting wave defense game and I found it to be worth it.
Wave and Tower defence games really seem to be a good fit for VR
you guys know of other games?
I would genuinely love a game where you're just in like, an apartment, and can snipe enemies if I wanted to, like just walk around and do whatever, but also snipe zombies or something if I felt like it.
From Reddit: a "local Best Buy" is already installing these displays:

Massive index info dump happenin live
$$$$$$$
Valve Index Is $999
Valve Index
That's not too bad for me, since I already have EV3 Knuckles. Pretty steep for most folks though.
Well, this seems to be the first attempt at a true "gen 2" headset. So the fact that the whole package costs like twice as much as a modern high spec gen 1 headset makes sense.
I mean shit, the headset itself is still less than the pimax 5k, and beats it in a lot of ways on its own.
Woah, Tested got 1st hands on for the Index.

Rofl 1079€. I think I'll stick with the 449€ Rift S until we get proper Gen2 eye tracking headsets.
Oculus Quest and Rift S pre-orders are up.

Why not get the index if you are going to spend that much on the headsets anyway? At least then you can have the base stations for whenever headset comes out next. Not to mention it sounds like the valve Portal game isn't gong to work without the knuckle controllers.
Oh I'm getting the Index probably. But somewhere down the line, let's first see how the first batch is received and what games, if any at all, Valve is going to bring to the table.
I'll probably still be doing most of my development in the Rift anyway.
Well that's a little disappointing for a price point.
Considering that you will probably need 3-4 stations, you're looking at 1058 quid.
However 689 if I can steal some base stations is a little more reasonable.
For me it'll come down to the comfort, movable lenses and 1440x1600 res with true subpixels could be the breaking point for longer sessions.
Still rocking the 980TI though so might have to dump into an upgrade first...
Why would you need more than 3-4 stations? The full kit has 2, that's all you need.
Roomscale with the vive is shite for anything other than a box room, it's probably a contributing reason to these new ones pushing up to 4.
Are you trying to cover a warehouse or something? 2 base stations is enough for even the largest of rooms in any normal-sized house.
