moving a thumbstick to various sides as a button is fucking weird. Compare that to Onward's layout
I haven't played Onward so....
Onward has like a fraction of the amount of controls though. If you have a better idea of putting that many different controls on a controller like that, do tell.
Finally ordered my Rift after god knows how long, I already got the Inateck USB Card (Well two actually since they've mistakenly sent me another one) and a third sensor.
I've been looking forward to this day for a looong time now!
I think that's much the point. h3 is less a game and more a simulator with tacked-on game elements. If you aren't already a fan of guns as a thing, I don't see the appeal personally.
I had two of those and one of them died after only a year of use. Pony'd up the cash for a more powerful Startech one since I run 4 sensors. I was having tracking issues with my 4th sensor anyway because the Inateck card I had all my sensors plugged into just couldn't handle all 4 of them at the same time.
Roomscale+armswinger is the only way to play H3VR imo. If you don't have roomscale you're missing out massively on the game.
My Inateck expansion card has worked flawlessly so far
developing for VR un unity is surprisingly easy.
I was genuinely expecting it to be a huge ordeal but you can set up basic functions eather easily.

Oh fuck, someone alert Little Kuriboh!
I WILL START MY TURN BY PLAYING POT OF GREED.
The fact that they basically forgot to make a PC release of Resident Evil 7 for BR despite saying they would after a year of PS4 exclusivities continues to piss me right the fuck off
Picked up Arizona Sunshine and Vox Machinae during the steam sale and i'm so far having a lot more fun with the second then I am with the first.
There is no universe in which the lever action controls in H3VR are okay, and I really like that game.
make sure to buy h3vr, it's the Best VR shooter
Did you hear about those controls though????
i dunno what the hell you're talking about, everything about how the guns in H3 work is incredibly accurate to actual gun usage and is really self explanatory
the lever action is def. an acquired taste but gets very fun to fire after you pick it up
i'm pretty sure sticky grip is even in the options menu, plus it's designed for usage with Armswinger
the dev plays w/ armswinger and tests with it balance wise
Accurate but not fun. It's a simulator/a glorified gun tech demo >in my opinion<. I can't imagine ever having fun in h3vr, and I tried hard.
When did you last try it out?
There's Rottwieners 2018 if you want a survival/zombie game, there's Take and Hold/Take and Hold 2 if you want wave based defense w/ spawnlocking and shit, a jokey Western gamemode if you like being a cowboy, Meat Grinder if you want a spooky experience, there's like 8 new minigames including aliteral metal gear fightin the latest holiday themed update, various different ranges if you just enjoy shooting for a hobby, a skill based target shooter mode that lets you unlock guns as you go, a TDM demo project that lets you fight super advanced AI sosigs on teams and shit, and more crap getting added every week.
Also grenade skeet ball.
I just prefer having other players in my VR experience which will always make H3VR bottom tier for me.
U59. Tried a bunch of shit but it's just not for me. I'm not telling anyone not to buy it, just that hailing it as the second coming of VR christ is overblowing it imo
That's what makes it top tier for me tbh
is there a (non video) guide out there for converting mmd models to vrchat?
Rottwieners was a genuinely unpleasant half-baked experience from what I played of it.
For those that don't recommend H3VR, what would you recommend
Roborecall, onward, pavlov, beatsaber, serious sam vr, superhot
War Dust as well, is one of my most played games.
Rather not. It's dying and is very low quality
He is better off with Pavlov or Contractors
WAR DUST
