There's a little push mechanism on the cylinder you can use, or you just do a jerking motion and they should fall out.
I mean you're acting like this is a new idea when the windows vr headsets are already exactly that? While it's true that the vive tracking system will always be the more precise than what you can get with inside-out assuming equivalent advancement, inside-out is already far more than "good enough" for the headset itself with the limiting factor being hand tracking. Once that's sorted you'll be able to provide a portable and easy to set up vr experience that can be made significantly cheaper.
I think the lighthouse stuff is worth continuing to develop on its own for things either aside from VR or for VR experiences requiring custom tracked objects aside from the users but I see inside-out as being the future whether you're on PC or standalone.

Until it's as good as Lighthouse tracking I'm out - it makes me feel sick. Heck even 2 sensor rift setup makes me sick.
I don't notice the lapses in tracking too much but my body sure as hell does.
It goes without saying that this is extremely abnormal, unless it's related to the experience itself or performance issues pretty much nobody as far as I know has any issues with WMR or Rift experiences. I have both a Vive (from my work offices) and an odyssey and I really don't notice any negative differences on the latter other than hand tracking and the shorter cable to the headset.

That looks great. I really hate teleporting but smooth locomotion makes me feel sick within minutes. That system looks far more comfortable and intuitive.
To be fair, he can call it intuitive and comfortable, but he's the developer so he's biased to his creation. You have to let more people play with it. I've seen plenty of these motion "breakthroughs" over the years that seem pretty cool on recordings but aren't as simple to get the hang of when doing it yourself.
I'd love to try it though.

I hate it when custom levels are fast and chaotic just for the sake of being really hard instead of having a proper flow to them like the stock songs. Actually listening to the rhythm is counterproductive and that's just dumb.
Your key is likely a use-once type system.
Or it's tied to your Windows license.

Really surprised still post David Heaney articals considering how massive a Oculus fanboy he is. Even Lucky commented on how he needed to calm down on his bias back when he still worked for facebook.
Anyone else having the Your Oculus hardware may be updating error? Can't seem to launch my rift or the software anyone, nothing has changed in my system
