It'd be nice if they introduced spirits more with these events (no need to be exclusive like the mario party ones though) It's just that with all the spirits I don't really feel much incentive to play these events at all.

Yeah I feel like like I've pretty much most of the spirit fights and I'd really like new fights to clear.

Brought my Switch to a friend's house who just got a brand new 65 inch LG OLED TV. Flicker-free game mode, active upscaler, smooth motion, the works. My. God. This game is fucking gorgeous on that TV. Some stages like Dracula's Castle, Fountain of Dreams, Suzaku Castle, Norfair, even Jungle Japes, OLED is absolutely transformative to them, not only making it easier to see what's going on in the dim light, but it exposes so much nuance to those stages that I never noticed before with lower contrast. Also the 1080>1440 upscaler (can't upscale 1080 to its native 4K unfortunately) looks better than I thought it would, and combined with the sheer size of that thing makes the absurdly huge stages like Skyworld and Great Cave Offensive actually playable without being a huge squint-fest. I'm really freaking impressed. I might have to upgrade my TV after all.

Turn smooth motion off though

We actually tried it with both. His TV is one of the ones where "smooth motion" (they call it LG Motion Pro) is effectively just black frame insertion facilitated by a high maximum refresh rate, instead of the frame doubling method used in cheaper ones. Gets rid of basically all OLED ghosting artifacts when it's on.

I realized my TV has a fuck ton of input lag. Even when I turn off every possible feature that might add input lag and I even turned on game mode. It just feels so bad. I'm debating just hooking my switch up to a computer monitor.
