Those sound effects make me feel like I'm watching some Dragon Ball.
Although I am kind of confused. Whenever I put comet drop or impact run on CPUs, they act really confused.
I distinctly remember one time when a CPU moved exclusively in mini hops just to avoid triggering impact run.
then again I had also put the slow super armor on them too, so they must have thought jumping was faster.
On the other hand, speed up + impact run didn't utilize the impact run much either.
Yeah they suck at utilizing impact run, sadly. My first attempt at making a gimmick CPU fight was instadrop plus impact run, but they kept trying to do aerials all the time, so I reduced landing lag instead.
it doesn't help that they send you the code multiple days after you get the game.
it would have been far better if they included the code at purchase.

I'd bet on Joker being an April or May release. April 1st would be fitting but a May release seems realistic.
I'm confident that Piranha Plant is getting release in 2.0, because Nintendo has been posting a lot of reminders about the Free DLC thing on YouTube and twitter.

So, since a previous in-game notification said that Piranha Plant releases "in February" and Feb 1st is next Friday, it looks like that is when we get 2.0.0.
Going off of rumors of a Direct next week, we probably get the Direct on Thursday or Friday too.
I can't wait till they added more DLC stuff they forgot to remove and completely ruin the surprise.
2.0.0 seems like a huge leap. I wonder if we're going to get something else alongside the plant (and balance changes). Not gonna get my hopes up, but it'd be cool if we got more Mii costumes or a stage or something.

Who are the most used characters in elite smash? I'd hate to see K. Rool get super nerfed when the character is only like mid tier in the first place.
We didn't get a concrete tierlist yet and already they're going to adjust characters.
Honestly... I don't mind that. If there isn't a credible tierlist for years due to regular adjustment, I would be perfectly fine with it, since they tend to stifle meta development and create circlejerks around a handful of specific characters; if everyone's labbing top tier in hopes of easier wins, no one is finding new tech for the rest, and the tierlist reinforces itself.
I'd really like if they added random character for qued matchmaking in 2.0.
I hope they add more features to battle arenas, and make it feel less clunky.
When the switch firmware jumped from 4.1 to 5.0, its most exciting feature was "add your Twitter/FB friends in the friend menu". I'm not gonna get my hopes up based on the number
