Super Smash Bros. General v23: Generic Thread Title To Piss People Off Edition

I leave when I win because I'm a pussy and my one winning strategy has been that my playstyle is hard to initially counter. I leave when I lose only if it was a complete wash and I don't feel like wasting my time when I could barely get any offense in, otherwise I'll stay to try and learn the match-up.
That's probably like most of elite play to be honest.
at this point, i only leave if its laggy or if the opponent has a dumb ruleset like stamina or something.
i understand not wanting to get stomped is one thing, but it breaks my heart when someone loses a close game and doesnt want to play you again.
The worst part is I've played against other ROBs before. They spammed gyro and lazer way harder than me. i still lost to them.
Sometimes I wonder how i even got 3.3 million gsp and elite with ROB. i literally can't even play neutral with any other character.
Richter seems like my best candidate for elite play, it seems like either slight input lag play to my advantage or people just can't deal with the projectile game.
It's not even necessary for me to use the Belmont subweapons but time and time again I'm surprised how many people don't catch on to my strategies.
Speaking from experience, try Duck Hunt.
He's got the same sort of disjoint craziness on his smash attacks, and you have more control over his projectiles. You can make some rage-inducing ledge traps if you know what you're doing.
My tactic is getting ass-blasting people out of the ring as Wario and then to the wiggle taunt.
people will adjust to belmonts over time
They've apparently been pretty bad at tourney too
Won't be long before they're Mac 2.0
It could be worse. K.Rool has been competitively dead since week two, and the only people who are still playing him besides wi-fi warriors are people who haven't gotten the memo yet and suck with him.
I think i accidentally discovered a good kill out of grab that works earlier than down throw -> down smash.
Down throw -> down tilt -> dash attack
Dtilt comes out faster than Dsmash and seems to send enemies away (and closer to the blast zone) in the same low-to-the-ground arc, and you can dash attack into them before they hit the ground.
I have a friend who loves those kinds of characters. Back in Sm4sh he mained Dedede solely because he wanted to see what he could do with him, though after realizing just bad he was, he cycled through various characters, learning Bowser, Bayo, Meta Knight, and Falco. Now he's on K. Rool, Wolf, and Samus for Ultimate, and I'd be surprised if he ditches any of them. He's not a wi-fi warrior either, while he's never gotten to the, say, top 8 of big events, he's pretty consistently performed well, very rarely drowns in pools, and is fun to play against.
Found this comment on Reddit; a user found out that Smash 2.0 may get in game video recording:

...found out? that's pure speculation, bub
So, are we going to get actual patch notes this time?
Sec III. Rule H.
Disconnection: If a player disconnects during a game after at least 1 minute has transpired or they have been KO’d once, the player forfeits the match. In the event of a dispute, the player that experiences the disconnection is responsible for providing video evidence of the disconnection via the Nintendo Switch Capture feature.
They're asking for something that isn't currently possible, in an official Nintendo document, on Nintendo's official website.
Now if only the Switch capture function could capture at 60 FPS.
Still, the convenience of that feature beats out the better framerate. It is a royal pain to create replays, and even more of a pain to edit them.
Why are you people getting me excited for something that will never happen.
I'd fucking cum buckets
And due to the sheer amount of cosmetics heavy has we could have like eight different costumes
Goku or a My Hero character has a higher chance though
TF2 is a video game though
So is dragonball xenoverse 2 and my hero ones justice
You do realize that the difference is that TF2 characters are actual video game characters and Goku/My Hero were animes made into games right.
Imagine if we also got TF2 promo items as well.
I mean, it’d probably be a huge stretch for multiple legal reasons (plus Nintendo probably not wanting their IP represented in a FPS), but we are just pretending/imaging, so yeah.
Yeah um..about that.

Plumber's Cap
that's a fan-made hat, nintendo had nothing to do with it
I meant like, if they truly cared about their likeness in a FPS game this hat wouldn't have been added. And lets talk about how these are costumes in a bayonetta game.

Pretty sure Nintendo has lightened up just a bit.
