Cause I didn't get it with the update. Is there something I'm missing? I thought only retail had to do something to claim it.
You should have been emailed a code to whatever email your account is attached to, search for "Smash Bros." for the nintendo email

The only code I've gotten in the past weeks was a Splatoon2 clothing bc of Online.

Piranha Plant is pretty fun. Neutral B is surprisingly powerful, Side B melts shields and racks on percent pretty fast. Endlag on nair is pretty bad. His recovery rocks though.

I was updating the email associated with my Nintendo, when suddenly, I remembered:
I need to redeem my Piranha Plant code.
I had made a new email about two weeks ago, but i migrated every read/unread email over just in case.
I spent about forty minutes searching when I realized I had probably deleted it on accident. So, I called their hotline, and was redirected to an automated message that told me that their lines were extremely busy, and to check back later.
