Seeing all those guns in the new story trailer makes wish there was an FPS spinoff game. Bonus points if you get to play as Kano taking part in various Outworld skirmishes to steal artifacts and sell guns to various races.

Johnny Cage is unironically my favorite character in MK from a characterization standpoint. His development from "not Jean-Claude Van-Damme" to "washed-up actor/secret agent/doting dad" has been just a joy to watch. I feel like any other team would have either deviated too far from his roots or gone all-in on just making him a total joke, but NRS, for all their insane writing tropes, have actually crafted a legitimately well-rounded character with him, which is the last fucking thing I think anyone expected from a series like Mortal Kombat.

Someone credible said Shinnok was supposedly unlockable in MK11 right? I was watching some gameplay vids and saw a Shinnok assist that makes the bones come from the side, and there's also some for Cyrax's net, Reptile's acid, and Rain's bubble. I'm hoping but not expecting that it points to them being unlocks/secrets as well, especially since Reptile was MK1's secret and the gang's all here from that

The leaked roster that seems credible had Shinnok and I wouldn't be surprised it it was true. The first story trailer had Kronika tell Shinnok's head that his fate would be different, one of the stages and story locations has his head attached to a big machine, and the Netherrealmers seem to have quite an army too. I'd say it's likely he makes an appearance.
