Aside from the grinding this is a fucking excellent game tbh. I feel like I actually enjoy playing a majority of characters, even if I'm not great with them, which is rare for a fighter like this. Shao Kahn feels fucking sublime, and the alternate move options means characters who didn't really appeal to me in past MK games (like Johnny Cage and Baraka) are now some of my favorites.
It's a shame this big lootbox fuckup put such a damper on things, because it's a pretty brilliant fighter otherwise.

As weird a decision it seems, I think I get why Krypt krate placement is randomized. I think it's so DLK fighters can get gear from the krypt without them having to add new areas to the krypt.

I just use a trainer that sets the opponents hp to 1 and now I can farm towers without ripping my hair out.

But in all honesty from what I've seen, I don't fault anyone on PC for going the trainer route for ToT. If the game won't play fair, why should you?
Has anyone gotten Mercy to work? I keep trying to pull it off with L2 and crouching a bunch, but, not only does it not work, it just looks like I'm teabagging the other person and they quit on me!
You most do it from mid/jump distance.
I also think you have to press l2+down 3 separate times? That’s how I’m doing it anyway. I’m not continuously holding l2.

Sucks you can only have 5 variations, I want to be able to select all the available costumes that I have, even better if I have more of one color of the same costume I should be able to choose a base color on the variation menu and then an option to change the color on character selection. Basically something like Street Fighter does with costume selection.
You'll find this is pretty much par for all WBG studios, not just NRS.
wondering if anyone can help me out a bit in MK11 with the controls, I think the 360 controller I use on PC's trigger rests a tiny bit down naturally, so even without me touching it, the right trigger is very very lightly pressed down, which is resulting in me blocking all the time. But in MKX, it'd only block if the trigger was pressed all the way down, but as far as I can tell there's no way to get this to happen in MK11? Does anyone know of a way to adjust the deadzone or whatever in the trigger of my controller?
Long medium and shot timing affects the trigger and bumper buttons as well.
I'm not sure if there's a setting in the game that can fix it, there's just a tiny bit ghosting on the right trigger, but that tiny input is enough for the game to think i'm blocking even if it's not held the full way down. I just need a way for the game to only block when the trigger is fully pulled down. I messed around with those timing buttons but it did nothing. It's just annoying how MKX didn't have this issue at all but MK11 does.
360 Pads are literally the worse pad ever made for a fighter, the dpad can go die please
I find it way easier to use than a keyboard tbh, and I really cant be fucked having to buy a new controller
I'm so torn where to buy MK11.
I could get the Switch version and have it portable, which would be great.
I could get the PC version because PC master race, but I heard the shitfest about the port, and also not many people play fighters on PC.
Or I could get the PS4 version, which would be the best version of the three, but none of my friends are on PS4.
See the thing with PC is that it's hit or miss, because I've had no issues but of course a lot of others have had major issues

Third gauntlet I think. When he's blue he has armor and normal damage, when he's red he has no armor but can OHKO you.
If ya got one of those spike bracer consumables ya can beat him through his armor form though making it a lot easier.
