Little nitpick with the 2nd fatality:
They rip the whole skeleton out, including skull, but their face still has teeth in it.
Well people get blades through their eyes and keep fighting so I figure they just heal so quickly they grew their skeleton back.
But really, I like MK but the gratuity of the crushing blows seems just silly. At least with x-rays you could say the bones were not visible after, why bother with stabbing and slicing people when they never get cut?
It's like a Tom & Jerry cartoon and I don't know why NRS hasn't realized that yet. These sick destructive and murderous moves feel silly more than powerful. Oh God, Sub-Zero literally got stabbed in his breath as in through both eyes, how can he keep figh- oh he's fine.
All show, no substance. The comedic fatalities like Jax's football are still great though
I'm pretty sure they have realized that and do it on purpose. Violent but goofy is basically the series whole thing.
