That tweet didn't embed in my post at first
I really, really liked DDLC and I still think that most jokes about it are really cringy and uncomfortable.
"shantae's VA" instead of misleading people why not also mention she voices edelgard from fire emblem three houses, which is just as much likely if not more so.
Or mention the fact that that was literally discussed the day it was posted
we went through like three fucking pages of this
y'all know im not the one that posted it right
Figured I would mention Shantae since I remember a few people in here being pretty big Shantae for Smash supporters, and like others have mentioned, people were talking about Edelgard being added for quite a few pages, but I added her to the post. Regardless of character, it has nothing to do with Smash, if it did, she wouldn't have said anything.
she says noob unironically so i still reserve the right to consider her a fool

Since we mentioned potential "leaked" characters and characters we wouldn't want often enough lately, who are the 4 DLC characters that you would expect and/or are hoping for? Personally the only character I could ask for at this point is Banjo. Anyone else I'd be fine or wouldn't care because I received the ones I wanted in the base game
Outside of the mascot platformer trio of Banjo, Rayman, and Crash that are on every list ever, I'd like another Capcom rep. Dante From The Devil May Cry series is more likely at this point because Capcom wants Devil May Cry to be a big deal and it'd be an easy sell for a DMC collection port, but personally I'd like X. Megaman is finally back and I'd like a character from the series who isn't expressionless deliberately stiff beep boop robot.
I know it's highly unlikely, but damnit, I want Heavy from TF2. If I can't get that, anything that involves Crash, Banjo, Geno, Porky or something is great in my book. Doom Marine and Crono are other picks I would choose.
Ryu Hayabusa for a more "classic" ninja character
Agreed. I'm glad he essentially rebooted his show and eliminated all of the side characters besides his cat. That DDLC character always wasted a bunch of time whenever she showed up.
please just give me, one of these I don't care which but I want atleast one of them : Master Chief, Steve, Doom Guy, some other Pikmin rep idc how, a TF2 rep, Spelunky dude, any Risk of Rain guy, Shovel Knight ( ), Isaac from the binding of Isaac, Rocket League Car, or the knight from Hollow Knight. Again I don't care which one but any one of these picks would satisfy me for the fighter pass
I've still got my eyes on the prize with Porky. Spider mech, big dickhead of a villain, was in brawl as a boss, the weirdness of no spirits whatsoever. I'm hoping!
I really want Sephiroth and Heavy but I doubt those will happen. Doomguy or Master Chief would be a good "wtf" pick.
Right now im only hoping for Loto/Erdrick and Wonder Red, Dragon Quest is part of nintendo history and W101 is like the only reason to own a Wii U at this point

I'm surprised nobody has made a clone of Super Smash Bros but with non-nintendo characters.
Rivals of Aether. Brawlhalla.
I want Banjo, Phoenix Wright, Doom Guy, and a TF2/Overwatch character.
There’s Playstation Allstars Battle Royale for PS3... but we don’t talk about that game.
I've never heard of them before, which was kind of my point. I more meant AAA titles trying to compete
The reason why AAA companies don't (and probably never will) is because almost all of them follow a niche that they don't want to stray away from, thinking it'd making them lose money. They aren't nearly the same as they used to be in terms of trying new things. It's all about profit now.
If we don't get Doom Slayer due to his violent nature, I'll settle for Master Chief with his explosives and Covenant weapons.
Playstation All-Stars Battle WHO?
Slap City is really fun.
Hey man, I've got no love for Sony recently, but PSASBR's devs at least tried. Despite the executive meddling that went into that game, you should at least applaud the effort the actual devs put into it because there was genuine love in there.
It doesn't help that they made the mechanics a little confusing for new players. Smash is really newbie friendly because ring-outs are an inevitable consequence of just mashing buttons and hitting eachother for a while, and once that happens once, nothing more needs to be taught, everyone knows how to win.
