I'd say the most annoying thing right now for me is the people randomly getting dropped from the game. Had a good squad but when we were about to engage in a fight he got d/ced. We didn't realize we were missing a guy until we had already started fighting.
I like Mirage cause he's not just a full-on dumbass, he's a nervous goofball. He's confident but not too confident. He's realistic. The stuttering can get a bit grating and feels a bit forced when almost every single line he says has it, but he's a great character.

I originally thought you had increased air accel at the beginning of a jump, but I noticed from these cvars that it's actually a separate mechanic:
"jump_keyboardgrace_max" "0.7" // replicated - Amount of velocity change allowed during jump_keyboardgraceperiod, as a fraction of sprinting speed"jump_keyboardgrace_strength" "0.7" // replicated - Fraction of change toward the new direction when pressing a direction during jump_keyboardgraceperiod
"jump_keyboardgraceperiodmax" "0.5" // replicated - Extra time during which a player can change their direction with keyboard input after jumping (fades to 0 strength at this time)
"jump_keyboardgraceperiodmin" "0.2" // replicated - Extra time during which a player can change their direction with keyboard input after jumping (at full strength)
Pressing a direction within 0.5s after a jump (with loss of effectiveness after 0.2s) somewhat redirects your velocity. The total velocity change is also capped.
However, these limits are meaningless because you can perform this any number of times within that window, allowing you to redirect your jump in any direction by spamming movement inputs.
bind mwheelup "+forward; wait; -forward"
Is what I'm using in that clip. It helps with spamming forward and is better than simply "bind mwheelup +forward" because you'll still get separate inputs if you scroll on consecutive usercmds.
@lordcrypto & @Omnyx hey thanks for playing with me, here's the vid I promised:

I think there's one important comparison that must be made between this game and Overwatch: who's edgier: Reaper or Caustic?
Reaper is a 12-year-old's OC, Caustic is a neo-nazi 21-year-old's OC
heh... ur nothin but another veryible on my chart... kid
Finally won my first game as Pathfinder.
Won so hard that my game crashed and couldn't celebrate with my fellow randoms. Was so scared that it wouldn't log the victory, but thank goodness it did.
The random crashing is the worst thing ever. Usually the game just freezes for up to 10 agonizing seconds. Then it either crashes to desktop without any error messages or anything or it unfreezes, I'm lagging like a bitch for a while because everything is happening in fast forward mode until I reach the "live" server state and can move again. It also happens in the worst possible situations.
Any tips on what's a good use for phasewalk on Wraith, except for combining it with ultimate?
I have not played much with it in Titanfall 2 (mostly played with holopilot, and now as Mirage in Apex), but I want to try her out since she seems like a really fun character to play as.
Getting the fuck out of situations that you don't want to be in comes to mind.
I also usually use it to get from cover to cover or to confuse people in duels.
Maybe its just me, but I love how over the top Caustic is, he is fucking Cold Steal the Hedgehog levels, and has a neckbeard to boot.

So Chappie skin maybe in the future!!??
Probably not
I really hope not to be honest.
the only guns that feel like they do any damage in this game are shotguns and heavy round weapons. the light rounds feel like youd be better just meleeing.
if you know how to aim the r-99 has one of the highest dps in the game.

huff.
those maximum damage delay latency values though holy shit
would explain cases where I would shoot a guy and they take centuries to react and conversely me taking some bullshit DPS damage in a milisecond
I'm usually not the one to carry games and clutch out victories in... Any game. But I've had two matches now where I've turned hopeless situations into wins with a spitfire and Bangalore.
I don't know about anyone else, but using M+KB in BR games makes me really unreliable, I get very jittery and nervous and can't land shots when it counts, even when just hipfiring at closerange. Switching to controller has really helped me in staying steady, I have more control over my thumb than my entire hand when I'm nervous.
Had some really bad teams yesterday and it put me off playing today. Finally decided to hop on and the only 2 games I played were both wins.

Both got the same aesthetic. I'd be down for it.
