You can run past zombies in a room before they even get up.

Even though I own all those RE games multiple times; I want all of them on my Switch. I've been waiting for Portable REmake and RE4 for awhile now.
Any info on whether or not the Switch version of RE4 lets you aim with the joycon? If so, I'm sold.
Dodge or stagger zombies, don't kill them unless you absolutely have to. Try and save as many defense items as you can for the last area. Shoot ivies in a yellow bulb to stagger them so you can run by without getting grabbed.
Shoot only large group of zombies that you wont be able to get passed even with staggering, Dodge/Run past everything else, plink the ivies in the yellow bulbs it'll stun them long enough to run past.

Probably due to their recent survey results.
And high sales of MHW on PC and I'm betting RE2 is doing very well on Steam. 12,000 reviews and still sitting at 96% positive reviews on Steam. That's no slouch and Capcom titles stand to do better now that we have other publishers trying to restrict their titles from the Steam platform or getting cozy with Epic. Very glad that Capcom is enjoying a renaissance of fantastic games that are so pro-consumer compared to some of the competition.
Hopefully Dragon's Dogma 2 gets a big launch on PC. I definitely see them remastering more Onimusha games, and hopefully they put out a new Dead Rising that isn't disappointing. It's also good that so many RE games are already on PC.
Also DMC V topping the charts for a while was probably another indicator.

Somebody made a mod that makes Claire's face look more like the person she was modeled after. http://residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/10575/beautiful-reality-face-claire-update
https://twitter.com/Wario64/status/1100567266695888897 Pricey, but I'm mostly pissed off that RE0 is the game in the cartridge, and not the superior REmake.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p84HJt3fMSQ They show off some old concept's in this video, including the old UI.
https://i.imgur.com/FIRslC6.png I really like the look of this one. Sorta wish they went with something similar, not a fan of the really minimalist UI in the final game.
Damn that looks nice, would had been neat to get something like it, and yeah didn't really like it too much for RE7 either, the minimalist UI felt really generic and incomplete.
I'm fine with the ui in 7 because you're in and out of the inventory so quick. That re2 ui looks sick though.
I'n not a fan of that UI TBH. It has too much wasted space, and it's meant to look like some computer system that doesn't exist. I'd much rather a clean UI with no context than a busy UI that doesn't make sense in context.
I don't mind the minimalist style, but they could've done something a bit more than basically reworking RE7's menu. I can tell from the old UI that they were inspired a bit by the first game's remake, but boy is that item set cluttered.
Damn, a remodeling gun? Leon really takes home improvement to the extreme.
I think the option to flip between either one would have been cool
That is pretty cool, it is more aligned to the way the old menu's worked. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/230446/fd5207f4-1553-4d7c-803a-1be4224efc75/image.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/230446/53586a79-fdf3-427b-a601-a395e2435525/image.png But what I enjoyed about switching the audio to classic is it brought back these little sounds https://youtu.be/o3gb32-7P_M
I love how both 7 and the RE2 remake have done exceptionally well to restore the intense, horrifically oppressive atmosphere with matching gameplay to boot; but I really did enjoy the gameplay of 5 and especially 6. At the cost of mangling the story to bits and pieces, six offered some of the best gameplay i've ever had out of the 'modernized' RE games, and it was a huge blast to play through multiple times with friends, I wish they'd revisit the concept, or make a side-series that offers something like 4-5 and 6 did again. There's seldom few other co-op games that provide something that 6 gave, sadly.
I seriously don't understand the hate for RE6, i'm playing it with a friends and it's a blast. The gunplay is fun, the boss designs are so cool (the fucking giant fly at the end of Leon's campaign), and while the plot is bonkers, over the top and really B Action movie like, it's enjoyable.
Part of the reason why I love the gunplay so much, is that there's a mechanical skill level associated with it. Dodging non-qte's is entirely dependent on your ability to predict, and properly react. Making a dodge system that isn't reliant on just QTE's did so much for the game and still makes it unique to this day - not to mention how fleshed out it is, and how awesome it is to lie on your back; roll side to side, and still being able to dodge-roll WHILE on your back. The counter system is cool and fun, yeah; but that only goes so far. Getting good with the unique dodge-system though? You can turn the game into a john-woo action movie because of all the flips, dodges and rolls you can do. It's a game i'd pull up to show off to a friend because of how seamless and amazing it all looks in practice.
RE6 hands down has some of if not the best shooting/action mechanics out of any shooter I've played ever. I've put like 150+ hours into Mercenaries alone.
If there's one thing I like about RE6 it's the J'avo mutations. Especially how they can sometimes suffer multiple mutations at once.
The chainsaw arms are a bit much though.
I don't remember any chainsaw arms but the game did have an organic transformer T-Rex so I'm just going to take your word for it.
