Any tips for a no item box run? Like best time to pick up items? Doing it on hardcore.
Avoid any upgrades since they increase inventory space, maybe just have an upgrade for your preferred weapon (depending on your character). Keep only 1-2 healing items on you. Prioritize key items. The more you get the pouch upgrades, the smoother it'll be throughout.
How many slots does a fully upgraded magnum take? I'm thinking of just skipping the shotgun altogether.
That's a good choice, the fully upgraded magnum only takes 2 slots
The slide upgrade adds an extra slot to the magnum, I'm not sure about the laser sight as I always get it after the slide. Matilda can get both the extended magazines and the muzzle brake without increasing in size. Skipping the shotgun might be a good choice since you can use all the high quality gun powder for magnum ammo. You could go shotgun only since high quality gunpowder and large gunpowder makes more ammo, but obviously it does less damage. You might want to break the knife killing the zombies in the hallway next to the west office, since it isn't necessary after you cut open the breaker and the other sub-weapons allow you to be more pro-active. Or save it for G1 and cut a bitch.
Can confirm magnum with just dot sight still only takes one slot. Looks goofy as hell too.
And that's beat. That was a lot easier than doing an S+ hardcore run.

I'm finding Leon's B scenario to be slightly more challenging than Claire's B. I really miss having Claire's SMG to use to kneecap zombies, and I haven't even crafted any ammunition aside from MAG ammo for Leon. I have around several regular gunpowders and a few yellows sitting in my storage, but I'll probably wait until I run into some large gunpowder to craft more shotgun shells.
The matilda's burst needs to be way faster. It should spit out three rounds about as fast as Claire's submachine gun.
I feel like Leon gets a more comfortable 1st run, and Claire's better set up for the 2nd run since you can get her weapon upgrades faster besides the High-Powered revolver, but that's just my personal experience from running each campaign on 1st and 2nd so far. Playing as Leon 2nd after a Claire 1st felt a hell of a lot more cumbersome than it did playing a Claire 2nd following a Leon 1st. Maybe i'm just weird about that though.
TBH it's more of a make the gun fire slightly faster than make it an smg
Modders are starting to get more resourceful now with the model swaps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I56KTWMTnF8 http://residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/10154/nemesis-beta-update-stars-coming
Why form 2 Nemesis?
From what I read so far in the modding community, it's because there hasn't been a proper method or tools to do complete remodels. The most people can do are swapping different bits of existing models together and re-texturing them. The Nemesis Form 2 right there seems to be using various bits from the G-Monsters with alterations to look as much as Nemesis as possible. Guessing Form 1 Nemesis is either really difficult at the moment to create a convincing model for him out of existing models. There's also one mod that is a more faithful Classic Claire mod but it's kinda obvious the gloves and undershirt are just textures rather than new meshes, due to the lack of proper model modification tools/methods for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQfmYXwWyGo
Well actually someones in the process of remaking the model to make it look more og claire. http://residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/10089/claire-more-og-styled
Oooo that's pretty promising so far. I like how they slightly altered the face shape and hair too to be closer to the original Claire, looks almost like an HD version of her from Code Veronica.
Holy shit this is wild. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBj2HQ-EmGg http://residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/10153/classic-re2-ui-logo-v1
Resident Evil fans: "Please remake this classic game that came out 21 years ago." Also Resident Evil fans: "We're going to turn this HD remake into the original or die trying."
I cannot wait for the "Fixed Camera Angle" mod, with the eventual Resident Evil 2 DEmake.
I’ll love to see a proof of conecpt at the very least, because I don’t think it’s going to work very well unless they rework some enemies cause have fun finding that licker in the ceiling with a fixed camera.
To be fair, capcom is doing that in ways as well https://cdn.gamerant.com/wp-content/uploads/resident-evil-2-original-character-model.jpg.optimal.jpg
I wish the records would show which file I'm missing I got 57/58, but I have no clue what it is and I want that damn achievement.
bit offtopic, but has anyone seen this little gem? https://waypoint.vice.com/en_us/article/59xgqz/resident-evil-2-survivor-compassion
it really is kind of a shame what they did with Claire's design, they could have really easily reworked her outfit into something more sensible without just making it into a boring leather jacket + jeans video game protagonist thing. high-powered tank-top Sarah Connor Claire is A++ though
I legit want to play RE6 with someone. I know it's total cheese but honestly that's kinda why I want to play this mediocore-at-best game. I've only played like 20 minutes of it too.

Why has nobody made a mod to color in the design on Claire's jacket yet?
