it's only a 1:30 timer. you only ever need to shoot/stun him when he starts his insta-kill, which leon says 'oh no' to.
You don't need to skip the magnum, but for the shotgun's grouping and damage type hurt X pretty hard, and if you have flashes, you're good regardless, basically boss clears the flamethrower just wrecks G except for 5, leaving your other ammo everything else.
you don't need anything except grenades. i brought 3 grenades and 3 flashbangs with me. i just flashbanged him in between running around in a circle to space out their usage, he basically can't hit you. just made sure you keep some distance a minute into the fight so when he telegraphs his one hit, you actually have time to throw a grenade. once he killed me because i was standing to close and the grenade went off right after he got me.
In RE2 she didn't have red hair, but she has had reddish hair in more official CAPCOM properties and art than canonical RE games she's had brown hair: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/229956/ce3509eb-77ec-4d57-bc25-58170acad5eb/59495b1ddb40d89de2c0e427945e0e7a.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/229956/ea2d4504-0f51-4ea1-93c1-a56a88bc4e0e/534134356.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/229956/0d83de00-ce5b-46a4-a1a0-32c784e7e040/5434156.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/229956/d65d1cf6-1cff-4958-866a-ef7b9b6e2b23/B6EFD9EC-7508-45A4-A31F-BD97C8E97551.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/229956/59690271-f52a-49f5-92f4-eae091a86a1b/Claire_Clan_Master_2.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/229956/4b74b3ec-baef-45b3-a090-ad30d7f09451/Claire_Redfield_(UMvC3).png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/229956/d39a11d1-e634-470c-9f73-482b5742b829/CyLQD6BUAAA5fJn.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/229956/cb0e2334-719b-4675-abbb-de7c06d50c1a/Resident_Evil_The_Darkside_Chronicles_-_Game_of_Oblivion_-_Claire_Redfield_render.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/229956/fca0917a-4147-477f-9ca4-69f506fcdd3b/86b060ae9a6b00703ff712b3109c59541472657554_full.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/229956/7b02e114-6966-4916-bf78-425c7f154588/claire_redfield_200x200___gif_by_robbiebr-d6roxcu.gif Official CAPCOM art tends to depict her with red hair in 2D and her hair is variably reddish-brown and moderate brown in 3D. Her actual in-game models differ a lot from game to game and even costume to costume. Overall I think it's safe to say that older RE Claire canonically has at least dyed her hair a dark red color since RE2, and the REmake Claire is definitely brunette. And yes all of these pieces are official art or from official games, even the anime ones and the chibis.
Muscular Claire is a fetish I didn't know I had. Thanks.
I actually like how daft Leon is tbh. Dunno why, maybe it makes him relatable to me.
I like how they made him a goober version of his RE4 self. He still has the quips, they're just not confident yet.
I think calling him shit like "goober" is a bit harsh. He seems confident, he's just extremely earnest and fresh faced. He becomes more sardonic later.
Gotta love Heavenly Island Claire and her uh, "partner". https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/residentevil/images/6/63/In%C3%A9z_Diaco.PNG/revision/latest?cb=20160209030400
Did B with Leon on standard. It took me one hell of a try to complete it. A very challenging and anxiety inducing game that plays with the idea of "unconventional" gameplay, meaning you don't wipe out enemies and call it a day. Very masterfully done, rushed ending though, as all the franchise tends to trip into.
I eventually got into the habit of jelly-legging zombies because it was becoming too much of an ammo drain to actually kill-kill them
When I beat Leon A I just felt like something was missing, then I realised it was the complete lack of one-liner before firing the rocket launcher.
Basically on A killing them is only for blocking issues. Due to the higher crit on the .45 it's much more doable on B, but still pretty situational.
So it's impossible to get the max inventory achievement on hardcore. Can't 100% the game I guess.
Maybe just play on standard or assisted for that one?
But those are sooo boring. Really though, it's just kinda silly that maxing it on hardcore doesn't count. It's nuts how much extra they give you on the lower difficulties.
Time to do a Victory Lap on Standard or Assisted I’m afraid.
Fuck me. I didnt know that the demo was only on the store for until 31st, and I just set up my pc after house renovations. Why would you limit a demo! Nobody else is doing that.. aslo Steam DB link doesnt work either .___.
Whats the best method of dealing with Mr X when you first meet him and you only have 4 shotgun shells and nothing else
Saunter in the opposite direction.
Dense Leon memes are great https://twitter.com/everglaid_/status/1091364677093797889
Memes that paint Leon from RE2 as a hopelessly dense when it comes to girls is my favourite because it reminds me of that time in high school where a girl was trying to hit on me and it took me half a year and her to find a boyfriend before I went "wait a minute..."
It worked until I was bifurcated by Lickers

I'm considering recording playthroughs of every RE game currently on steam, I only ever played and finished RE 4. I was wondering what order to play them in, would release date be the best choice? I don't know if that would be the correct story continuity, haven't really researched that yet.
If going by original release dates and not Steam release dates, just go with release date yeah, specifically if you'll be sticking to just the games on Steam. RE1 HD Remaster RE0 HD Remaster (this is a prequel but it spoils plot points for RE1 so you should play this second) RE2 (Not on Steam, there's a PC version out there, and if you're going by emulation, the Gamecube one is one of the best versions) RE3 (Also not on Steam, but there's a PC version you can find out there) RE4 RE5 Revelations RE6 Revelations 2 RE7 RE2 Remake (Optionally you can play this after going through RE1/RE0 HD Remasters, but the original is still really good and experiencing both isn't redundant since this Remake takes into some world building retcons from RE7)
To add on slightly to the post above, the PC port of RE3 works fine on modern operating systems without much fiddling (or, at least it does on Windows 7, I can't say for 8 or 10) and actually includes some graphical upgrades compared to console versions - namely that the pre-rendered backgrounds were all re-rendered at a higher resolution. That said, much like RE2 if you can't/don't want to play that version the Gamecube port is the next best bet in terms of emulation, at least in terms of how easy it'll be to set up.
Just got RE2 Remake the other day and wowie, it’s fantastic. Atmosphere is spooky, genuinely got hit by a few scares, and everything is generally terrifying. Just got back to the police station on Leon’s route, but shit man, playing the game like RE4 has wrecked me. Thinking about starting over since I’ve now got 0 Pistol Rounds and 0 Shotgun Shells with zombos and Lickers everywhere, sooooo mmmmight dodge past them next time.
Seen while browsing over on Reddit. I laughed pretty hard. https://vredd.it/files/tw70gejfk5g21.mp4
