if you're a fan of roguelikes, GoNNER is a small one that's worth picking up! has a bunch of charm and a fun artstyle
Enter the Gungeon is another big roguelike that's worth getting, has a ton of content and is similar in style to the binding of isaac
Hyper Light Drifter is a fantastic, fantastic hack-and-slash-ish game with super gorgeous art, a soundtrack that's just as good, smooth controls and a superb atmosphere to back it all up
Celeste & The End is Nigh are both worth grabbing if you enjoy a good challenging platformer (though personally i would recommend Celeste more)
and if you like rhythm games, consider VOEZ! it's a wonderful little rhythm game that has i think just over 200 songs in it now, and it still gets updates every now and then!
also hollow knight. get hollow knight
doesn't that run poorly on switch?
Gameboy 30th anniversary later this month (April 21). That's a pretty big milestone.
And it'll be thirty more years until you can emulate GB on Switch.
I’m just going to assume he’s talking about the 2009 Punch-Out game for the Wii and he’s simply mistaken. Cause if Mike Tyson inadvertently leaked the news of a new Punch-Out game for the Switch, then whoops!
I think he's forgetting the part where he's still a convicted rapist. No matter how long ago that was, that's still a deal breaker for a family friendly company like Nintendo.
Holy shit, how the fuck did I not hear about this?

Okay this fucking sold me on it.
Like no joke, botw in VR?
This is making it even more possible for Skyrim in VR now too.
So Odyssey gets a mini-sample but BotW gets full VR support?! Holy shit!! Maybe I should replay BotW in Master Mode VR.
I'm assuming there's a way to strap the VR set to your head, right? or are we truly going to have to go back to the ol' Virtual Boy stand?
It does appear the VR headset has a hole on both sides, it seems the strap would go into it.
In every piece of footage we've seen, we've seen the user holding the headset with one of their hands. Makes me believe that's the only option.
What's the matter y'all never used duct tape before

How nostalgic
I'm not sure about this, remember that the Switch is awful for actual VR (framerate and resolution are nowhere near what it should be to prevent headaches and motion sickness) and the games are obviously not made for it. Seems like a funny gimmick at first but I feel like people will tire of it extremely fast. With Mario that's not a big deal since it's just 3 mini-missions, but the Zelda thing feels pretty pointless.
Even if it is somewhat firmly attached, the switch is kinda HEAVY! My nerdyly weak neck muscles will scream
Is there a list of all Nintendo Switch ports? They're getting released so often, I forget about a lot of them.
For example, I found out about Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, which is a port of a 2003 game - I'm all for that shit, but these releases are harder to hear about
Oh shit, they ported fucking SPHINX?? That's one of the last games I expected to get ported to anything. VERY underrated gem.
It was mentioned on this thread, nintendo everything and surely most other sources covering Nintendo when that game was ported. I suppose if you don't keep track of such sources it would be hard to hear about, but that port had a decent announcement.
I know Splatoon has its own thread now but this is too stupid to not post here.

There's no word if Nintendo is done adding new gear, but this might be one of the last things ever for the game. Japan exclusive too. God this shit is a mess to look at.
For some reason I feel like I am looking at a tricked out Specter from Ape Escape.
Perhaps I am merely projecting my want for it on Switch.
Ape Escape belongs to Sony

Rip in pizza
Yes, but we dream for a reason my man. It makes reality a little less sad.
Plus, crazier things have happened.
I had a dream last night that Nintendo re-released the game cube with more powerful hardware so it could run all the games at HD. They were still 4:3, but the vertical resolution was 1080p.
So im selling most of my retro video game collection and listing it on ebay. Its mostly Nintendo stuff, I have a lot of Nintendo 64 items. If any of you guys are interested, i think im on discord you can give me a holla
