So I have Labo VR and thought I'd give my 2 cents.
It's honestly really decent, tho keep in mind this is my first proper VR experience.
As an entry way to other VR, it's probably the best way, otherwise you'd have the shitty phone VR which is awful, or the expensive $250+ PSVR which is a ton of money if you don't like it.
It is fuzzy, but not as bad as I thought, the gameplay and fun makes up for it imo, I tend to forget I am even looking at a low res screen.
My arms do get tired but mainly with the Blaster (I have the starter pack), the regular goggles are fine.
Now I gotta say, as someone who never had Labo before, my god it's so fun building it, and even learning how it all works, it's fascinating to me.
And the Garage is so rewarding, making my guy run around was so incredible once I got him to actually move.
It seems dumb but as someone whose been wanting to make Games, having a guy run around, and figuring it out, was incredible.
After a while I was getting interested into future VR games and it got me thinking of games that would be great, especially for the low res screen, and it hit me.
The old NES-N64 (most likely Gamecube too) games, as they weren't made with resolutions higher than 360/480p in mind, and since the VR is around that area already, it wouldn't be too bad off.
Which got me to think even more, I remembered that there were videos on youtube for VR, and I tried some out and a lot of them worked great (tho the majority has double vision, just keep that in mind).
I launched up some Zelda ones like N64 OOT, and 3DS OOT (since well it was made for a 240p screen) and it looked great in VR.
Even twilight princess which really sold me on the idea, it honestly looked so damn good.
Quality wise too.
Even if it's not as clear, it'll still be incredible.
And then I got thinking, BOTW, the reason why I bought Labo VR, has VR videos, and I launched one and holy shit.
Even if the resolution is lower, it's gonna be incredible, looking at Temple of Time and seeing it tower over Link, and looking at the mountains in the distant and seeing the size, everything just clicked for me.
VR doesn't need high resolution screens or even 60fps (since all these videos were 30fps).
This shit is fine.
And the videos actually prove that with enough tinkering, these games can look better in VR.
And that's ignoring any future revision that could have 1080p screens.
This was worth the money, it's just amazing.
However tho there is a slight problem.
It scratched my glasses lenses.
Now, I knew the risk I was taking but for the most part it seemed to be fine, but then I took them off after a while and found them scratched. Right in the part where I look straight through, it'd be like having a dot in the middle of your vision. Now I assume you'll be able to get away wearing Glasses with VR if you don't have thick lenses like me (Ambylopia/Lazy Eye), but for those who do, please, PLEASE becareful. Use an old pair if you can, one that you don't really care about screwing up.
It really sucks, considering I need Glasses to even see so I can't take them off...well I can but not for long periods of time and especially not for VR.
I'm lucky I have a backup pair that isn't too different lense wise to my main pair lense. Just sucks I gotta take them and get it repaired, gonna cost me money that I don't have.
And on top of it, it may have scratched my VR lense, however it seems to be fine, but please becareful with that too.
Heh, that's where my mind went too. Makes me wanna see an N64 demake.
so i was doing some digging in animal crossing new leaf's files, and i found that all animations across all characters are the same, even if they are differently proportioned characters and the bone structure of the characters varies a bit to make them different enough, but all characters still have the same animations overall

That's funny, I have a similar thought for a completely different product.
I'm sorry, but I'm just laughing my ass off at the reused "Luigi." SFX from Mario at 2:45. It just sounds so out of place in the serious context of that cutscene.
