Anyone know what the thing behind the Mario statue is?
recently ive been having trouble playing some of my games (odyssey, smash, splat) when im not at home and i really dont know what the hell the issue is. odyssey will just hang at the "use joy-cons!" screen, smash will hang on a black screen after going past the splash screen, and splat will hang on the first load screen. odyssey is the only cartridge, the others are downloaded. i tried using the delete software option for odyssey (to go back to 1.0 i guess?) but switch wont even let me launch it without downloading updates. the games work perfectly fine at home so im clueless as to whats wrong. other games work fine too (BOTW, MHGU, bayonetta). anybody else have this happen and know whats up?
I see Diddy finally got a new arm after he lost his in the Smash wars.
That is a very well placed statue to hide something.
Got to love the booklet with Reggie and with his laser eyes.
To be honest I don't know why people were expecting this to look bad, the Switch has proven that it can run games like Doom, Wolfenstein and Hellblade with very good results, why should it be different with a fighting game of all things?
Because it runs at 60 fps. Those 3 games you mentioned can't even reach 30 locked.
Is it worth picking up Hyrule Warriors for the Switch?
I really like Warriors games and it looked neat, never owned a WiiU and it seemed incredibly awful on 3ds.
I mean. It's hands down the best Warriors game because they actually put effort into it unlike every other spinoff.
It's got boatloads of content. I've managed to wrap nearly 200 hours of total playtime and I still haven't beaten the majority of adventure mode. It's got the exclusive content from the 3DS version and the DLC from the Wii U version which extends the story mode by 10 or so missions.
Damn, sounds like a great deal. The price is somewhat steep but it looks pretty neat. Thing is that I never saw it sold in stores around here, is it digital only?
It's physical and digital. I purchased my copy from Amazon.

Real talk, that new zoom function has been genuinely useful for me. Being a capacitive touchscreen, you can't get the same precision you get with a resistive one, even if you have a stylus. Using the SSBU Stage Builder without the zoom function would've been a major hassle since the builder itself only zooms in so much, so this is a godsend in that regard. It's also been useful in TV mode since I sit pretty far from mine and it's not all that big; it's a 42" and I sit about ten feet from it, so smaller text can be hard to make out even for someone with perfect eyesight like me.
Two things that piss me off about the stage builder is that there's no paint tool so if you already finished something but used the wrong material you can't slap it on whatever you did and have to restart. The other thing is that you can't draw with the right controller cause both the left/right controllers function the same when it comes to camera controls. Just let me draw with the stick for gods sake.
I guess if I had to make a gripe about the stage builder is that there's a definite lack of good textures. You can go on for only so long before sticking to just one. Usually that one for me is just steel. As dangerous of a suggestion it may be, I kinda wish they'd allow people to use textures found in other stages, or just make some more generic textures to go along with the ones we've already got.
Hell, even the ability to color them (I don't know, color overlay perhaps) would be great for the visual builders.
I am posting this here because there is no BotW thread, I'm not entirely sure how to proceed or how the game intends me to complete each goal.
I've been exploring rather extensively the world trying to track down the divine beasts, thus far I liberated the one from the Zora domain. Then I wanted to move to Eldin because it seemed logical in a way, got myself some heat resistance potions as well but I noticed that you are literally combusting upon reaching the Goron domain.
Now I went to the desert one but have not yet reached it. Also I've found the master sword and tried to complete as many shrines as possible for heart containers. Still not enough, the tree gave me some rumors about a person dealing with hearts in the south of hateno village. I'm not sure what he is referring to, been wandering around for a while.

Game my friend helped with came out. You should play it, it's good
When you first enter Hateno you'll see some kids running around. Talk to one and he'll say he wants to show you something, follow him to find the heart/stamina dealer. For Death Mountain check the stables nearby the base of the mountain near Akkala, they should be able to sell you some Fireproof potions so you can progress up it.
Or you can just do this:

Is there a way to see your own content other than manually searching for it? I remember the Check Mii Out Channel back on the Wii, one of the most gratifying things was how you could check in and see just how many people liked the thing you made.
