He's being serious, also the Kerotan Frogs got changed into Yoshi.
That is indeed a very Kojima detail.
Once again why hasn’t MGS 1,2,3 at least been ported to the Switch. They had it on the damn Vita. And 3 on the 3DS.
why do you want a switch game when you could play all the metal gear solid pachinko you could ever want
You guys have phones pachinko tokens, right?

Ey so I'm getting a switch in the near future. Is there any hidden gems that I should look out for during sales?
i know theres a huge list of games i still want to play and haven't bought yet. off the top of my head overcooked 2 and immortal redneck. games that are available on other platforms but would be so much nicer to be able to play in bed or on the go.
That depends; do you mean in terms of Switch Exclusives, or just games in general that play well on Switch?
Good games to check out include:
Rocket League
Cuphead
Enter The Gungeon
N++
Trails Rising
...and an obligator list of non-obscure must-haves (even though you only asked for hidden gems), because why not:
Smash Bros Ultimate
Super Mario Odyssey
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
I mean if there is a particular game that's great for the format for the switch. I'd probably be gaming on the go for the most part so I think I'd prefer more short form stuff.
Definitely thinking of picking up cuphead.
Puyo puyo tetris comes to mind if you don't mind a puzzle game. Very addictive and great for on the go.
Also Mario maker 2 when that comes out in 2 months.
VOEZ is a killer rhythm game if you're into those - compared to the others on the eShop its really cheap, and it has 200 songs or so!
GoNNER is a fun 2d platform-y roguelike with a great art style and some lovely sound design
Hyper Light Drifter, Celeste, The End is Nigh, Nuclear Throne & Hollow Knight are all favourites of mine too
Beat Breath of the Wild last night after extensive exploration and spending a ludicrous amount of time with it.
I have to honestly say that is one of the best open world games that I ever played, it's not flawless by any means but even the fact that I finished the game already speaks volumes for me.
Furthermore I thought that I would never revisit the game again but I'm already itching for a new playthrough but it's just a lot of busy work as well. Not sure if I should bother with the hard mode of the first dlc.
It depends on how much you enjoy enemies being regenerating damage sponges. I don't mind a tougher game but ultimately the game just expects you to have constant aggression because you take your eyes off of them for ten seconds and they're back to full health. The only bone they throw you for extra content are the flying platforms and while they're a neat little addition they don't balance out the frustration of Master Mode.
FYI if you haven't noticed yet

I also beat Botw after two years of picking at it. The last month i have been getting all the collectables i can and upgrading my guardian armor maxed. Ending was a little underwhelming but damn what an experience. I definitely love the game
i would love to see a new zelda game that takes all the best parts of the exploration, open world and freedom of botw and blends it with old zelda with themed dungeons and items.
I did want to get breath of the wild but is the dlc worth it?
I don't think so, it doesn't add anything to the main game which you'll be spending most of your time so eh.
If you do get it, I suggest completing it as soon as possible. By the time the DLC came out, I had already beaten the whole game, so the cool rewards they give you at the end were basically worthless to me.
Not true, the Ballad of the Champions adds in a new main scenario and expands upon the Champions' lives and the lead up to the Calamity, providing additional characterization and eventual closure for those figures in Hyrule's history. If you liked the base game you'll probably like it, and if you liked Eventide Island you'll like the Trial of the Sword.
Anyone else feels that the champions fall is the most tragic part of BOTW? specially with how Mipha had a a romance going on with Link, The fact the heroes couldnt stand when the time came strucks me in the feels
I felt that way with the cutscenes in general. Every time I saw one I was thinking, "I wish this wasn't a flashback. I wish Zelda was my companion on this adventure. I wish we could all team up and fight Ganon in a cool way instead of blasting him with a giant laser beam."
Spirit Tracks, Twilight Princess, and even Majora's Mask to a lesser extent show that the glaringly obvious first step to having a memorable and engaging character is to actually have them be with you for more than a collective twenty minutes of the game. Unless they're as obnoxious of a character as Fi, who we'll remove from this equation given that they're a combination of having zero personality and being a vehicle for overbearing hand-holding.
On top of that my primary personal problem with BOTW is that the writing is way too shallow to make me care about any of these characters and I don't know if more screentime would fix that.
I don't know how they decided fi was a good idea right after midna, one of the better zelda companions
Different writer/s. I don't think that the trend of fundamentally bad decisions made with the stories and characters of SS and BOTW are going away as long as the same lead writer is in charge.
I hope the next Zelda is an open world game with co-op. Would be so much fun.
the switch would be a prime opportunity for a 4 swords remaster. or a spiritual sequel

Is it going to be coop, or only single player?
