it really feels like the game actively discourages you from flanking (in closed-in areas/maps) because of how fucking often itll just decide the next wave of enemies will come out of the door right behind you and just mow you down.

I like how you can raise your gear score just by exploring and finding crates throughout the world. The constant flow of better gear in general is handled really well. I don't feel the need to look up farming methods on youtube like most loot shooters. I can just play how I want.

90% of the content in the season pass is actually going to be free for everyone, season pass owners just get access to it a week earlier than people who don't have the pass. The only things exclusive to the pass are outfits and a handful of other cosmetic items as well as a few unreleased assignments or something, which I don't know anything about but they're probably not going to be anything major. So unless you really want the outfits (which may even be available separately later down the line) the season pass / deluxe edition is actually not really worth it at all.

Had this happened to me soooooo many times. I'm a fan of going deep and getting the best position, but it seems less like it's discouraging you from doing so and more about the game encouraging you to memorize exactly where those spawn points are.

So far it's been hell guessing and trying to exploit this.

you could do that in scripted missions, yeah, but its harder to do that when it happens in open world missions too (e.g. bounties)

Talking abour weird movemnt bugs, theres a very specific escalator on that capture point that is in a subway tunnel that causes you to glitch out bad. It will show your character vaulting out and then immediately get sucked back in like lag. This shit continues till you eventually inch yourself away from it.

Is it just me or do DMRs just kinda suck in this? They're all slow to fire, have a lot of recoil which means you have to fire even slower as you have to wait for your crosshair to settle and they don't even do that much damage to make up for all that.

ive found theyre best for cheesing the fuck out of everything, being a mile away and just being generally safe. i got one that the first shot in a new magazine (as in, expend every shot down to 0 so you have to reload from empty) is a guaranteed headshot damage no matter where you land.
this guide on reddit that i saw yesterday says that stability matters fuck all for them.
