God damn its been awhile since I've binged a game this hard. Such a fun looter shooter
I've found that any gun that isn't an assault rifle sucks. semi auto rifles are slow and don't do enough damage, shotguns rarely have a purpose since you're usually fighting enemies from a distance, SMGs are okay I guess, haven't really used them much, LMGs instantly make enemies hide in cover as soon as you fire at them, and there's maybe 2 or 3 good marksman rifles.
The MK17 and Sig are great Rifles. Especially the MK17. Can do just as much damage as an AR and in big chunks, and at longer ranges. And if you build into it, putting on gear to emphasizes the strengths, it can be ridiculous. Just like a build with SMG's. The Vector combined with some talents will outheal incoming damage. The bolt action rifles can, at the moment, one shot kill. A model 700 headshot can and often does instakill players. But there's also a talent that makes the first round from a full mag do headshot damage no matter where you hit. OP as fuck
Some pistols are so good you could probably focus on them and main them, no joke
ARs just sit in the middle of everything. Not the fastest rate of fire, not the slowest. Not the least damage, not the most
With that said, my current build, if you meet me in the occupied DZ just run. I'm not rocking the usual gear most people are, like a CTAR or M4. I'm rocking a fucking AK-M. This thing in my inventory says it hits for 26k. In the shooting range it hits in the 1.6 million DPS range, though that's best case scenario. It absolutely shreds. Some people die faster than players do in hardcore mode Battlefield
I've been rolling an RPK with like 48% crit chance, 88% crit damage and like 70% headshot damage. Its fucking bananas in PVE. I've got an MPX too thats about the same shit, about 10% lower crit damage but higher crit chance and its like ZZZZT and shit just disappears. Theres nothing quite like dropping a Black Tusk heavy's helmet in a single mag. Its sorta like bringing a real gun to an airsoft battle, its fucking crazy.
Any Discords up for FP Div? Saw an invite back on page three but that's expired now, also sent a clan invite, uplay names' Raze-Rize

permanent link that doesn't expire
Some shotguns delete entire npc squads late game. If you get the right perks, you can 2 shot purples or 1 shot reds with the regular pump action. AA-12 is also a blast with firerate and damage buffs.
i havnt really tried shotguns outside the sawn off, bolt action and smg seems like a really powerful combo in PvE

i recommend against entering the shadow realm, and subsequently silent hill
(that little escalator is so horribly buggy, everytime i jump over the parts of it, it teleports me right back to it, but this was a first. i couldnt open up any menus or do anything, and i wasnt moving myself at all. was a neat trip tho)
Invaded dark zones are fucking brutal and I'm pretty sure impossible playing solo.
Makes me wish there was a mode where you could just wonder around without having to worry about enemies.
Man, once you hit world tier 4, shit gets REALLY fucked. I feel like I've been dying a lot more now.
Is it just me or is there just a total lack of ambient noise in this game
I've never seen a game be so bad at streaming models and textures from an SSD.
multiple times I've had the game downgrade itself to minecraft tier graphics
That's a specific and known glitch. There is ambience.
Yeah there's some kids playing For Honor at the Theater settlement
I shot an invite request off for the clan, IGN is Garro2112 if someone could accept it please
I too sent a request. Its just Dippeggs
I don't find the out of world stuff (Other than tier 4 control points) too insane, but Challenging missions feel cheap as fuck, yellow enemies will just bumrush the fuck out of you and not stop even if you unload an entire teams worth of LMG bullets in to them, hopefully they get tuned down to not rush if they aren't shotgun / melee guys or something =/
World Tier 4 gets super easy.... at least with the normal content. +2 is a bit harder but still fairly easy. +3 is a bit of a challenge. +4 go fuck yourself
Is there any kind of "active" way to seek out cosmetic items other than microtransactions? In the first game you could get that base upgrade that added a vendor that would get a random selection of clothing appear every once in a while, is there anything like that in this?
Oh god there are so many areas like that in the game. The side mission where you have to gather parts for the minigun has a few of the ropes where that happens and it took me like 3 minutes to just get down the damn rope.
Dear god, the demolition site control point on alert level 3 is literally impossible. TWO mounted miniguns firing at you at once. Peak your head out for half a second and you're dead. I'm starting to think raising the alert level isn't even worth the trouble. I'd rather stick with the normal drop rates, and take a little longer gearing up than go through this shit.
If you're just gearing up yeah, +1 and 2 are fine. But +3 and +4 drop Gear and weapon mod blueprints
No respawn points for assaulting control points is just flat out stupid
requested invite, ign is BEARDYduck
I'm a badic bitch that loves the M16A2. I have the walnut paint so I can have my spurs jingle jangle jingle.
I requested to join the clan. My name's Skippyy.
Requested invite, IGN is Rellow
I hate how exotics work in this. You have to find three parts, all of them random drops, then get a blueprint to drop, also random. You have four chances to find each part, and if you don't get them, you have to wait 24 hours for the boxes to reset. Very boring, and not fun.
