We’re sure you are wondering how to show gratitude and solidarity with your cybernetic brethren! Have no fear – your commanding officers have bravely volunteered to have the seats removed from all Astra Militarum transports. Knowing life in the imperium that probably makes them MORE comfortable.

They keep mentioning wheels, but the Tauros was the only IG vehicle that had them and you can't get it anymore.
The only concern I have with those "constrast paints" along with washing in general is how do you fix stuff up? Like if you get paint where it doesn't belong or are neatening up some freehand, how do you match the colours?
If you're doing freehand one something I doubt you used contrast paints in the first place. They're for quick tabletop quality jobs, not anything you're putting the time to freehand details on.
They guy commented on that in the Twitter responses. Supposedly, you use the undercoat colour plus the contrast again on a spot and it blends in well.

Hggnnn, can't wait. Would love to try it out on heads because I've hated painting them since I first started. Also gives me a reason to finish up the ork army that came in the Blackreach box.

Apparently FW paints are coming back, now just distributed by GW themselves. https://i.imgur.com/3MxF5VA.jpg
Never tried any of them. Were they good?
I never got to use any of them but I generally heard decent things about them.
I've been playing a lot of Vermintide 2 lately really enjoy the game even with the issues it has sometimes. I had a look on the steam page the other day and was kinda disappointed with how lacklustre the trailers were. When I watch them they really don't inspire me to want to play the game, nor are they reminiscent of how the game actually is. So seeing this, I decided to make my own trailer that is more action oriented for a bit of fun. I had a lot of fun filming and piecing it together and figure you lads will want to take a look as well. https://youtu.be/0_X7Qu0rEuM Need to do a proper thumbnail for this

After a completely excessive amount of effort on R&D, I finally settled on a Tyranid scheme that I really like, based on the coloration of the real-world coconut crab: https://i.imgur.com/jFZ1Zyy.jpg
Looks awesome, both the palette and the pattern. Which paints did you use for the shell bit?
Faq for the big faq https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/05/29/warhammer-40000-update-april-2019-addendum/
I can't stop saying I need an APOTHECARY
VMC Orange Brown and VMC German Camo Black Brown. Both were then edge highlighted with a 1:1 mix of the base paint and VMC Ivory, and I carefully washed Army Painter Dark Tone directly into the crevices between carapace plates. At the end the whole model was washed twice with 1:1:2 AP Soft Tone / AP Light Tone / homemade wash medium (6:1 water/matte medium)- all the bone color is just white with the two layers of wash.
So it seems with the release of contrast paints, GW is axing their range of glazes. https://i.imgur.com/AJDVCfG.jpg
I mean, I'm not surprised. In one of the videos they mentioned that you can turn the contrast colours into glazes by diluting it with the contrast medium. https://citadelcolour.com/playlist/6039773749001/6038093838001
Painted up a Wight King for an in-store painting comp at my local GW. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/196111/e0d2b229-c854-46b1-9f89-0a7f54246ca3/wightking.jpg Was my first attempt at basic NMM, but I think I've got the technique down now. Once I start on my model for the Everchosen comp I'll be able to put what I learned to work hopefully.
I feel sorry for the other contestants.
A wee lad has spent many moons learning fron the mighty Duncan. He has thinned his paints, his brush strokes are neat, he's very proud of his work. He shows up to a painting tourney since he feels he has a chance. @Jimesu_Evil kills him on the spot.
