It's difficult to describe the process exactly since I mostly just wing it until I get the result I want, but the short and sweet of it is that I start with flat black, then do a thin glaze of black with a little bit of Hoeth Blue, then continue building up layers, adding a bit more Hoeth Blue to the mix and focusing more on the middle of the highlight with each layer. Once I'm at 100% Hoeth Blue I start adding Lothern Blue, and then again with White Scar for the very fine points of the highlight. I use Vallejo Glaze Medium to thin the paints since it thins the paints similarly to Lahmian Medium but keeps the paint wet for longer, allowing for some wet blending if needed.
I hope that helps, it's hard to put into words. I intend to make a full tutorial with photos eventually though.

I never understood why they don't just drown the babies or something in Fantasy.
In 40k if a baby has mutations it's going in the designated disposal furnace.
I'd assume that the baby works like Genestealers it the mother would do her best to dispose of it, naturally.

Probably because fantasy is just a little bit less grimderp than 40k and humans aren't completely disposable.
Remember 40k is the setting where they have those stupid martyr blood powered generators, fantasy is "just" medieval Europe with actual magic and the Spanish Inquisition was right.
