Don't be surprised if the fun was ruined because one person did very subtle trolling and made the song selection "Snake Eater" and Nintendo decided to yank them all down.
I didn't even mind that when I noticed it, I thought it was just a cute goofy joke. And I'm sure it wasn't intended maliciously at all.
Joker doesn't seem all that good to me, definitely not bad, but I wouldn't call him a potential top tier threat or anything. A tier at best, high mid at worst.
I think he has potential to be low mid when you consider the fact that at top levels people are going to play the camp/evade game any time Arsene is out
I'll say Joker is easily Top Tier. While his true powers comes when Arsene is out, him by himself truly feels like a un-nerfed Sheik. Great speed, good combos, surprisingly good recovery for a tether-based one.
Not to mention getting Arsene only takes like one smash attack from your opponent.
My brother's getting so tired of unchecking the "show rail" button in the Stage Builder that he's now wearily mumbling stuff like, "Hello, it's the rail police..." "Show rail. Shail." "Remember to hide your rails. It's like showing your work in grade school."
Joker's effectiveness is going to be heavily matchup-based, calling it now. He's going to be great against some fighters (probably heavies) and total trash against others.
I can't see him dealing with a good Fox or Pichu at all. I can't see that working out in his favor.
I have a pretty hard time fighting Ness with him.

Screw it, turned the difficulty from hard to easy for the Geno fight. No regrets, that nonsense is as unfair as Cruel Smash.
I have trouble seeing what's so surprising or shocking about this given Nintendo, as a company, does not want to upset anyone on either side which is why they stay neutral and remove all political stages.
And yes - atleast at this current moment - "Trans Rights now" is a political message.
I do wonder about the borders of their rules - can I make a stage that's Donald Trump's face that is titled "Donald Trump" and nothing will happen - but the moment I call it "Donald Trump for 2020" it gets taken down? I'd hope the latter.
It's a weird topic but Fluury kinda has it right. It's not a negative message to a lot of people but it's still a message at the end of the day- and ultimately not what the stage creator was made for.
That said god I am so fucking sick of the steamed hams showing up in the browser. Do some people think that the joke hasn't gotten old yet? Do they think they're fooling people by pretending to be "original"? It's kind of dull :/

The only good Steamed Hams joke I saw was that someone posted online a map of the characters looking out the Window on the Aurora Borealis (Ice Climbers glacier stage background); the rest have just been generic, but that one map got a good chuckle out of me.

I knew how to but the image quality is ass and it's not a good representation of the stage since the image treats it as 2d instead of actually rebdered.

Fought a CPU DK that started out pink and when it respawned it was white for some reason???????????
Cloud on the loading screen went from FF7 to Advent Children (the big splash screen) I'm so confused???
The stage thumbnails should be a render that generates when saved, not the weird half-baked 2D render we got.

I'm guessing the image must pass thru a Nintendo server during the upload process and they wanted to save a few KB?

It's nowhere near as bad as when Cloud was released in smash 4.
Like when I pick anyone else, no jokers. Very few in-between, but suddenly I pick Joker and nothing but mirror match. Always.
