I'm legit completely satisfied with DLC at this point. Anything past Banjo is icing on the cake. Sure, there are a few characters who would be nice to have (Dixie Kong, Paper Mario, Master Chief), but as I said - those are merely icing on the cake for me. My god, Sakurai is too good for us. We have a real life Smash Bros game where Ridley, Cloud Strife, King K. Rool, and Banjo can fight.

So I assume this is a mistake, but the DLC section for the Smash site now shows 8 slots instead of 6.

It's a mistake; do a hard refresh of the page and the site design will update. DLC characters were moved above the regular cast, and there will only be six slots.

Sakurai really couldn't have handled this any better. Like this is the most amount of love that Banjo has gotten in years and it's pretty amazing time. Thanks Phil Spencer for making it happen and being so cool.

Fucking amazing! Fucking truly amazing! Banjo is back at home! So glad that they when with 4 different heroes for the DQ rep, got no problem with him. He looks great, reminds me a mix of Link with Robin's magic.

Yea. DQ Hero looks pretty fun and of course, Banjo is in so everyone and their grandma is happy! I did love the remake of K.Rool's reveal into Banjo. It's cute and its Sakurai being cheeky as always. He knows how much he got us by the tip of the nose. What a fantastic day!
