Actually, a tweak to a config that only broke when you removed Botania. Like I said, there was a lot of care put into the config stuff so it's not so easy to just drag and drop without checking the configs to ensure everything is good. Modpacks, especially integrated ones, are a time consuming process so it's sort of expected; it's why I'd prefer to be told tweaks I can make since I know what config stuff I've already done and where new stuff needs to go. Nonetheless, the fix is super simple and the fixed config folder is sent over discord. Plop that in and that'll remediate the issue.
i just woke up and Loriborn found a fix, so here it is:
toughasnails.7z
that goes in the config/ folder of your minecraft instance.
don't want to fiddle with folders and stuff?

the issue was because one of Loriborn's settings expected a mod that i removed (as he wrote above) and so the game blew up

try reducing draw distance
Mess around with the settings. The modpack is exported, so it has all of whomever exported it's settings. I noticed the draw distance was like, 15, and fast render was off.

heads up, server will be offline for a bit as we figure out what we do.
the furnaces were broken because a mod we werent using was left over. so we either play with broken furnaces or we create a new map. if we do change maps, at least we'll have a chance to get a good one (and longer summers)

If worse comes to worse, I for one do not mind a map reset. I consider yesterday a mere tutorial.

yeah thats fine and all except the range of them is so far that you can't even see them before it's too late, unless you can equip them after they control you. (their control goes through blocks btw)
