They ought to do something about the votekick system, at least half the servers I've been on recently have had a griefer with weird characters making it impossible to votekick them.
it's really an interesting thing being in a fight with a maul user, and i mess up leading to me seeing the hammer being centimeters away from my head for a split second and my brain thinking "hmm, seems i have made a slight miscalculation"
as my brainmatter goes flying towards the wall behind me the second after.
Type playerlist into the console. It'll output a list of all players currently connected, each player has a specific number before his name. Instead of using the name or steam id you can just use that number.

I know the blacksmith hammer is a tool first and a weapon second but dear god the most you can do with it is block. all chambering does is drain your stamina because you have no range with which to actually hit your target. Hell half the time you can't even hit you're team barriers to repair and build them.

you'll be able to use any weapon effectively using this method. But if you want the best sword that'd be the Zweihandler, its both a spear and a sword all in one!

Final boss on horde mode, and a bot that can spawn that's really really really good.
Best in terms of easiest to use would be anything that thrusts. In particular, try either the spear or the short spear/rapier and shield.

The Zweihander, Executioner, and Spear are all really good weapons. I think the second tier would be rapier and shortspear, with shields distributed between the two. Then almost everything else in the game is perfectly viable.
For a game with this many weapons I think the balance is pretty good.
