update: two fools thought they could tagteam me to death they thought they had the numbers advantage, but the only numbers they got was the +1 death that was added to their KDA after i pulverized them both to death in one hit with the maul get out of my house
Should you also be using a short spear to stand in as a javelin?

Gods a recurve bow + falchion build is so much fun to snipe people with right in the center of the battle, especially popping all those jon snow cosplays who forego using a helmet. I hope they add middle eastern content in the future, some crusading maps would also be rad.

I'm glad they didn't just buff kick across the board. Good job devs. Seems like a fair set of balance notes.
The mallet and blacksmith hammer range increases are also good. Awkwardly swinging the hammer at the woodpile 5 times until it finally connects is a pain.
Toolbox (and "Engineer" class) buffs just when I learned how nice it is to build stuff. Great!

Try mixing in decels with feints/morphs when you're trying to open people up. I like to run up point blank, crouch and look down to fake an instant overhead, then decel overhead instead. 99% of people will get hit.

A lot of my combat style involves stabs so this kinda sucks, oh well.
It's not too bad, it's more of an adjustment to lessen the stab spam and give it a more strategic timing to it. Just gotta adapt a bit to the new timing.
Chase mechanic: a player who chases an retreating opponent gets a mild speed boost. This is included to discourage people from disengaging fights that don't go their way resulting in benny-hill esque chases. I'm not sure about the exact conditions when it's triggered but generally when your opponent sprints directly away from you, you are in pursuit in sprint and your cursor is aimed at their backs you'll get a slight speed boost. It is noticeable if you use a default class and chase the same default class, you'll be slightly faster during sprint than the exact same build which is running away from you.
Heater and Kite shield block adjusted, it is now slightly easier to hit around these shields Praise the Lord. Haven't tried the patch yet but it was like constantly hitting an invisible wall, so this was a priority for me. Smokes now disable chase mechanic Ninja loadout incoming.

You should consider swapping Flesh Wound with Second Wind. And once you go all light armor, replace Rat with Dodge. Should be a lot more useful on a light build.
man idk it was frustrating during early game horde but it was also hilarious how the peasant waves would spawn flinging a volley of shit at you immediately if you stood to close to their start

I think they should've. It's silly that you can backpedal away from a point blank kick, especially when they do little damage and can be canceled out.

On the server browser search for "more damage", I just went on a server confused why I kept killing everyone with a single stab, it's crazy.
How do I stop hitting my teammates with axes and large swords in team fights? I know this sounds nooby (I recently got the game, too) but every time I go to make a horizontal head swing, some little fella with no armor and a rapier enters my FOV trying to gank the kill, and I end up wipong out him, and the two enemies in front of me. I really don't want to be the guy who says Aaahhwww sorry lil guy, ye got in the way of me axe that time! like a Warhammer Ork. Yes, vertical strikes in frontline I know. But that limits my options and even sometimes still hits teammates.
De-sync of some sort. Had this happen to someone on Skirmish, all we saw him do was stand still in spawn, you could see him react like blocking and swinging, but you could also damage him. I didn't really test much but I don't know if his swipes on his end connect to you or if only your strikes connect to him, weird issue.
You can turn so that your swing doesn't hit as far to the side and drag to avoid teammates if needed.
