Mordhau - Battlefield With Swords - Games

Some dude built one of these inside of me as I was charging him and it killed me. I was not so happy. I've found my best weapons are the Rapier and the Bastard sword. Playing scoundrel I tossed the rapier at a raider and embedded it directly between his eyes. I also went behind enemy lines and went in one of their archer towers while it was empty. An Archer apparently took offense to my intrusion and shot me in the chest and sent a raider after me. I dropped my bear trap then quickly fled to a low wall and out of their area right as the raider went up and lost his legs to the bear trap. He was not happy and the Archer never went in the tower. And despite doing basically nothing it feels so good swapping fighting styles with the bastard sword, (and most weapons.) Just that little change makes fighting feel so much more controlled.

I wish all these new games didn't have scuffed releases. Every server I join has between 150-300 ping, literally unplayable.

You... ARE using the server browser right? Or is it lying to you? I look for lowest ping servers first and then hop in. Maybe there are more servers available to me being on US-west..

I'm not sure if its the server browser showing incorrect pings or some issue ingame but it happens to me as well. It was worse before the hotfix where I'd always be at 200 ping, but now it fluctuates.

How's the lute playing work? Can I run a script that lets me play through the fire and the flames while frantically charging at enemies?

Game looks fun, would it be worth purchasing in its current state? Or should I wait a while and wait for updates to patch up any major issues and bugs before purchasing.

Rushed the flank to get on the top of their gate tower by inside ladder. A foe saw me climbing up and knew the time he'd climb up I would have killed him before he could draw his weapon. He decided to sheat his weapon and show me his mighty fists, and so did I as an agreement to this duel. I let this enemy of mine to climb up in peace, and there I stod waiting for his summit. We stared at each other for a moment for a breath before the battle, nodding to each other in a form of respect that one of us shall die gloriously today. He swing his fist at me and I blocked it by mine, and two times more he swiftly hit me from the sides, but all I needed was one good lucky blow to his metal face, and so he fell onto the ground. I bow to his bleeding corpse for the warrior he was. Does anyone else have some crappy lag in this game that doesn't happen in anything else? I'm regularly sitting at 120 ping in this game, but I've never had that experience before. At least not repeatedly.

ya it's doing some weird shit on my end too, random jumps to 240+ pings from a normal ping at 60, and a lot of the time i just completely desync from the game too, i'm walking around and doing stuff, but my character model is just idling at spawn for everybody else some hell weird issues goin on

The server browser is weird. It takes like a minute for the servers to appear.

For the people who have been having progression issues: When you've lost progress, were you playing in servers you found through matchmaking or through the server list?

Okay this game is really starting to annoy me now. What the fuck is this shit, I have just noticed that despite all my kills and games, my XP and gold hasn't risen a single goddamn bit.

Known issue, its affecting people semi-randomly, though not sure anyone has determined the criteria that causes it.

Been stuck at 840 gold for like the past day while also not getting any XP. Game's still a blast though. Hopefully these will all be sorted out shortly.

For me, one of the things I looked forward to the most in this game was spammable voicelines. The addition of those as well as gestures really helps make it all better. Even more so since I'm 99% sure that the dude who did the Eager voice pack is the same dude who voiced the Agatha Knight.
