As soon as they grunt (their attack phase is starting), you need to do the same attack they're doing (your windup phase), but mirror it. By mirror, they mean if the enemy does a left horizontal swing, you do a right horizontal swing. The issue people get confused with is that, from your perspective, a left horizontal swing from the enemy is coming from your right, and thus your right swing is moving in the same direction as their left. So, you're moving in tandem with their swing, not clashing against it, which is what confused me at first in the tutorial. Basically, think of your enemy as your reflection in a mirror. When you swing your right arm, from the perspective of the mirror, it's a left arm swinging. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFW21ADLFW0 Chambering is basically sliding your weapon against theirs to push it away, while still having your attack happen and can thus hit them. You'll hear a metal scraping sound and possibly see sparks if done correctly. Chambering takes up a lot of stamina and should be used sparingly to force an enemy to parry to not get hit, or counter chamber (more difficult, and will drain stamina quickly). You can morph and feint during a chamber to fuck up the enemy's timing.
Oh god no. Teammates have a difficult enough of a time hitting the enemy directly in front of them without cleaving the four other guys in the battle line alongside them, since most of the weapons in this game are either a big sword/hammer or blade stick. What do you think will happen with these?
That's strange. I press F and nothing happens - I also checked in the keybindings and can't see anything bound to F, despite the tutorial telling me to press F?
finally, after all these hours of grinding FINALLY DEUS VULT https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/110384/6a71b1da-e09d-4f83-b46f-9f8af2a837af/DeusVult.png

Unless it's not bound, you have to be moving at decent speed before it'll crouch. Slowdown and it'll come back up.
it also works for the estoc, fun fact
Is there an alternate method of muting someone other then the look at and press k thing? Cause it's real tedious, especially since it's usually an enemy I'm trying to mute.
Can bear traps catch horses? I can't tell if the hitbox is juat really small or if they don't actually work.
Been led to believe they do work but I've never seen it myself.
Billhook is my fucking JAM holy shit. I tried it near launch, got enticed by big 7+ point weapons with 90+ damage on a hit only to come back to this murderhouse. Swings like a longsword, range of a short spear, gracious morph timers, and ANY attack (including stabs) decouples horsefuckers from their horses. Only thing mediocre is the damage versus Tier III armor and the alt-mode being weird.
After a couple of matches of running around with the traps, I managed to get one. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/112325/e957a57a-9185-44f0-848a-6d5b332102ef/Replay 2019-05-17 21-51-44.webm The hitbox is really fucking tiny though. I've had a row of four traps set up side by side, and watched people and horses run right through it.
That's feigning. Morphine is going for a specific attack and before the animation fully plays out changing to a different attack type. Like using mousewheel forward for a stab, and as you wind up, mousewheel down to fool your opponent and "morph" the charged stab into a downwards swing.

Made it to Wave 12 by myself until a couple of people joined and decided to crash me. I understand being frustrated since you cant really do anything when you join a later wave horde game, but kicking someone off a server instead of finding one of the dozens of empty ones is a huge dick move. Really took the cake when some asshole decided to plant a bear trap in front of me which got me down to 3 hp. Fuck them, though. I got 1200+ gold and a ton of experience.

I think the maul should have a bit more range. It seems wonky that my underhanded swings are missing despite being up close to people and having them in or directly nearby my crosshair.
I thought this too. The key is to never move backwards.
This has been said many times, but the character customization is some of the best I have ever seen in a game. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/493280146841927703/579169970110464019/the_coolest_roland.png My D&D 5e character given form. Fashion is the most important stat.
It's gotten to the point where I crave more, there's not enough sabatons or arm/hand options, light armour is also somewhat lacking. do like 2 frontline matches and then it's hours in the armoury
I couldn't even tell you the last time a game community made me feel so at home. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/251806/94c61acd-5b91-4efb-b686-2f0fb4a80c2c/hungry.png
By the comet. Now I want more asymmetrical cosmetics for the arms and legs like the shoulder have it. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/222717/d40fcbe8-dd58-4171-b35e-93dede6c0ac4/20190518001051_1.jpg
I feel as if chambering is nigh impossible with weapons that have slow startups. Am I doing something wrong? Atm what I try to do is *look* at the weapon thats about to hit me, and just as it about to hit me, startup my own attack. My dueling skills atm entirely rely on outspacing my opponent with my huge clown poleaxe.
I'm pretty sure that I get some kind of dopamine hit whenever I hear a head crack from a heavy weapon.

Do you guys prefer binds or the 240-degree system? I kinda want to try out binds since they seem a lot more consistent, but I'm so used to the 240 system and it feels more immersive imo.
240 works better for chambering, but binds work better for being more efficient and cunning with throwing your opponent off tempo
