many servers won't give gold/xp payouts because the backend servers for it are shot. wait for a fix, its affecting everyone. you can try changing servers in the meantime until you find one that works
As fun as the game is, I really wish I could try out more items and have the chance to feel like my own soldier. I hope they fix it soon
I understand progression systems are all the hot rage, but would it 'av at least killed them to have all the weapons unlocked at the start so an item backend server (which gives the game a finite lifespan in a sense) wouldn't cause this mess?
The XP and Gold bug appears to be a server specific issue (from what I have seen) as I was able to get XP by playing on "Los Angeles - Suttenburg 4" and one of the Dallas servers.
You have to server hop around and hope one of them isn't bugged if you want to play and progress at the same time.
From my experience the servers can be bugged every time it changes the map.
I've had a pretty consistent experience with the two servers I mentioned, they always gave me xp and gold at the end.
Apparently there's a slomo console command, that might be useful for learning a few mechanics with bots.
Can confirm all central U.S. servers are fucked while i consistently get ponts on west and east coast servers.
The Australian servers don't seem to reward gold/exp either, and last night, the official one I was playing on was hit with huge lag spikes. Everyone in a 48 player server had over 150 ping and massive packet loss.
It's not great.

had this duel against someone who's been playing since beta and was pretty fuckin good. damn that was hella tight
Several EU servers and Russian ones are also shot.
Still having fun with the game tho'
Horde mode is fun for a while until people do bow cheesing or spend 20 minutes kiting enemies only to die at the last dude, Frontline seems to be where all the party is.
Also seems like the wooden log bridge on Taiga is a DMZ, all lute players in the area are always passive. Had like 5 dudes on lutes just jamming it on the logs while firebombs were popping off, people dying and screaming all around 'em.

"I'd rather not pin it, as it's not a confirmed solution yet."
"The compensation won't be low. I believe that it will be 10k or more. However it will depend on when it's fixed."

restart ur games
hell yeah lets see what level i am now after today's matches
Nothing's more fun than playing your guitar in a battlefield and then (courageously) died hoping that you distract your enemies long enough to get slaughtered by your teams in the end and win.
The basic "classes" haven't begun to bore me yet.. I get to think of build ideas while I practice my lute'n.
Been fucking around with a "Chef" peasant class, wasn't quite expecting someone to deflect my pans in mid air.

My friend said he played on a server where there's infinite horses that spawn and everybody grabs one but he doesn't remember what he joined, anybody know what server it is?
duel servers are fun but they also remind me of how twitchy I am to any sort of movement.
Morphing fucks me up
Chambers actually aren't that bad against slower weapons but fast weapons I can't imagine mirroring those consistently
Yeah you can block any projectile that isn't a ballista bolt. It's actually pretty nice
HAPPY TO REPORT:
I stuck with *official* US servers on the frontline & skirmish gamemodes and am regularly receiving gold+xp. It begiiiiiins.
it's working on non-official servers too
They already fixed it.
Okay the voice lines you can use are fucking perfect for holding weird and funny conversations. I spent literally 3 hours on one server, playing a naked guy with a high pitched voice and I just ran around and said hello to enemies. Actually met a bunch of people who
responded with voice lines of their own instead of chopping me to bits. And even if they killed me despite me being a friendly dude, I could watch some enemies from spectator mode actually going wtf with the Come At Me gesture and saying "I thought we were friends?" to each other over my dead body.
