Bothers me the way that you seem to swim faster swimming uphill against the stream than you do almost anywhere else.
Item streams are a ring tailed bitch to get working. The amount of stupid fiddly shit you have to do to align things so that they don't get stuck in hoppers, under slabs, in random corners, etc, is nothing short of ridiculous.
So how about enderdragon fight this Sunday, say 7 PM GMT (3 PM EST)?
Can I get a whitelist for a friend?

I knew cross chunk problems were bad in 1.14 but I didn't realize how totally fucked they were until I started attaching sorting arrays to some stuff.
This causes torch burnout because it crosses a chunk border. Yes, I know it's a retarded looking sort filter, but I need to do some silly shit so that redstone signals don't get crossed.

I've been intermittently working on the autofarm I intend to build. Almost all the kinks are worked out now. Everything is lag optimized. Even with all the farms running it only adds 1-2 ms per tick, and everything is designed to shutdown and only run when needed. Even then, the farms are all (except sugarcane) set up with T-flips so that they only run once a double chest has been drained, then they completely refill it.
I'll start collecting some of the essential resources and hopefully start building in the next day or two. Here's a preview:

Features include:
Cobble, stone, and smooth stone generation with automated storage for stone bricks and chiseled stone bricks.
Kelp and dried kelp production (lowish rates ~500 an hour)
~1400 sugar cane/hr
~7000 bamboo/hr
Furnace array that continously smelts 3600 cactus/hr to produce 720 xp/hr.
3600 green dye/hr
18,000 cactus per hour
Furnace array that continously smelts 3600 cactus/hr to produce 720 xp/hr.
~1000 (1285 with XP disabled) bonemeal per hour using composters to transmute the cactus.
All accessible chests will reload at double hopper speed for at least 7 double chests worth of material.
As for the XP, this is nowhere near what a skeleton grinder can output, but you can collect the XP instantly, and it runs regardless of what anyone else is doing.
Since I have the artistic talent of a fucking plank, I'll let someone put a shell around it. The only requirement is that the walls and roof directly around the structure must be made out of solid blocks to prevent light updates. Light updates are the difference between walking into this thing and getting 80 fps or getting 4. Server side they are muuuuuch better in 1.14, having almost no real performance impact. Client side is a different story entirely. It's unbelievably bad.

The people of MNR are highly cultured and intelligent individuals, as demonstrated here
Everyone please take note. If you don't feel like fighting, join in and ask to be put into spectator mode if you want.
>THE ENDERCULLING COUNTDOWN<
I was trying so hard to toss that golden apple over
Can we get permission to use the /tps command?
Also, seeing as there's tps lag with almost nobody online, we may want to engage in an animal culling around the spawn chunks (which are now 23x23 in 1.14 for some arbitrary fucking reason)
I don't use any permission plugin and don't intend to use one for simplicity sake. This means everyone's limited to whatever commands plugins deem usable for everyone. I use the /tps command often to check if everything's OK but it very rarely dips under 19.95 anyway. The lag you're experiencing is most likely from the shitty chunk (un)loading in 1.14.1. Entities barely create any lag at the time of writing, it's all chunks (the current server hardware is really good).

Elytra Situation
I find someone's Elytra lying on the ground and I decide to take it with me so I can find the original owner.
"How did I get away with this" means "I am surprised to have found an item this expensive on the ground with the owner nowhere to be seen"
Galaxy gets killed, which opens a new era of civil war. Citizens of spawnville immediately started joining either the Galactic or Terryian side.
When are we taking Terry to court for murder??
Literal evidence above about the theft
clear and intentional, I see no wrongdoing, and believe Terry-Stan was in the right all along.
Why would I be sharing video evidence of me committing theft? As you can clearly read from the post the intention was to return the item. What did you do the entire time during this video? Right, scamming people out of house and home. My thoughts go out to your wallet Sgt Napalm 🙏
I'm not sure if paper will automatically do this, but when you push the 1.14.2 update, I'd recommend allowing the server to go through the entire world file and recalculate the lighting. The alternative is to have it recalculate each chunk the first time it's reloaded.
A friends server didn't do that and the chunk loading was unplayable with people moving around. 2 people in boats could crash the server.
Bit late, but are applications still accepted?
madihuana, I played on the last max no relax server a bit
Hey guys, I used to play on the last (or the previous to last, don't remember well) version of max no relax. Some of you may remember me as Fedaso (I actually tried to build an underground dwarven settlement with Scorp, then went on my own). Unfortunately, I've lost my account to some kid hacker. I'll probably buy this game again in a bit to play. Does someone have a copy of the old server? I'd love to explore some of the builds there.
Trying not to sound like a whiny little bitch here but speaking as someone that used to play since the first iteration, that big ugly cobblestone generator 15 blocks away from spawn is seriously an eyesore and has no business being there. Not to mention it's pretty pointless considering the abundance of cobblestone, I swear we used to have guidelines for this sort of thing on older servers to keep spawn from looking like garbage. These kind of things should be built a good couple of chunks away from spawn, if at all.
I tend to spend alot of time in spawn when I get days off from work and stuff like this seriously kills my enjoyment for the game especially when I consider the fact I only ever have Minecraft installed for this server
It'd be nice if we could keep the same rules we've had from older servers, automated farms, mobfarms, automatic fishing and all that are really a detriment to this kind of server, there is no hardcore aspect left when you can go AFK and have access to every single enchantment in the game when you come back, I might be the only one with this issue and that's fine, but to me it just feels like were playing on the Vanilla server now with mobs having a damage buff and I have to ask what is even the point.
r8 baby
I agree, but with it already having been allowed for a few months now, ruling out afk fishing now is kind of pointless unfortunately.
There is a bright side - 1.14.3 is going to nerf enchanting back to how it was before 1.14 where you can't stack enchantments easily. No more God Armor.
Yeah, it's absolutely too late to start banning anything. Probably should have taken a vote on what rules to implement at the beginning.
I personally wouldn't ban anything but AFK fishing. That's the one thing that's breaking the balance.
Finally finished my Galactic armor and tool set.

I have asked multiple times if someone wants to take the lead of organizing the buildings in spawn and to this day no one has actually told me they wanted to do that. Hence we're still all free to do whatever until someone takes the lead.
It doesn't really need organization, a simple rule of "No big ugly redstone contraptions" is all you really need to prevent eyesores, it's legit 15 blocks from the spawnpoint and is the first thing a new spawn will see upon loggin in. Keep them underground at least or something.
Spawn looks fine as is really, it has organically grown like every other Spawnville in previous iterations, but a server like MNR absolutely needs some ground rules to keep the hardcore aspect true, the game is easy enough and enchantments are so overpowered without automatic farms for experience points
Idk it just doesn't feel like MNR at this point for me and it's a real bummer.
I wonder if it'd affect anything to move this underground. Also it's not quite finished yet so I can't say much about the final appearance. If this is such a big issue to more people and @Zephyrs doesn't mind, I can offer to move it underground using commands. Alternatively we could also look for a different location.
I personally don't feel like adding more rules because I like the simplicity. If you're not the only one that feels this way though, I'm willing to change the rules. Currently it's just the occasional nagging on the forums though and it isn't making much of a point other than "oh a few people think this game is too easy". But at the same time we still have like 10 deaths each week. I've also already stated that everyone is obviously free to play the game however they want, if you don't like AFK fishing then don't. It's not PvP so others' OP gear won't affect you.
It's too late to ban machinery and grinders and stuff like that. It's not too late to install plugins that make the game harder to play in some way or another. Issue is that not everyone is a professional mob slayer and newbies (and even some veteran players) might suffer from making the game overall more difficult. Personally I'm also looking for new challenges, you saw the armor and tools I have. I just don't know how to make it fair to everyone
If it's that much of an eyesore, there are two options: Put a building up around it or move it (with worldedit if need be).
On the topic of PvP why is it on if we're not PvP, are we doing a coliseum in the near future?
last week i accidentally shot my friend in the face and killed him his first day and while it was very funny I definitely wasn't expecting it

This is why we have PVP, so we can murder the admin when they try to steal Elytras.
So really Terry caused my friends death when you think about it.
Thanks Terry
Holy shit, so Terry is the one who killed my horse. So that's two counts of murder.
