I have an idea one of them is in the dark world and you swap between them on the spot to do puzzles and combat.
I've never played Banjo-Kazooie, but I felt happy when I saw the reveal trailer, knowing that the franchise hadn't been dealt kindly with.
What I imagine is probably them exploring the depths of Hyrule and open up new entrances on the surface to better explore the innards of the land.
So basically, it's another kind of "parallel" Hyrule except its all underground and it might reveal a lot about the Sheikah, the Towers and probably Ganondorf.
People have speculated that the sequel might go for "Let's break the curse of Demise/Ganon". There's also the reverse speech and the wall drawings that are reminiscent of the Twili so they might get retconned into a new canon as a powerful force against Ganon, since BotW kinda acts like the "timelines" got merged really hard.
Also, if BotW didn't make you think of a Miyazaki movie, this one DEFINITELY feels like one. The red tendrils remind me of the disease in P.Mononoke, the cavern exploring and green lighting is reminiscent of a scene in Castle in the Sky. Hell, with Hyrule Castle lifting up, we might get a literal castle in the sky.
And short hair Zelda is just fucking the cutest little button! They seemed to have learned and will most likely make her involved like she was in Spirit Tracks. She's definitely doesn't seem like a fighter but she might have abilities that Link may not that will help into solving puzzles.
Maybe they'll add that feature they talked about WAY back when BotW was first shown at E3 where they said she'd get mad if you did stupid things. Probably a miscommunication or a feature that never made it in the final game, like the blacksmith that was noted in the concept art sheets in the artbook.
New enemies, hopefully Redeads and Gibdos since it does seem like a much more spooky game. New mechanic most likely related to Link's arm glowing like the severed arm.
There's a lot packed in in that minute and a half.
Heh, I like the Bowser gag they did.
Thing to note too: That ReDead looking guy that looks at the camera has the Gerudo symbol in the necklaces, so it's safe to say it's Ganondorf.

- Just built a prototype, and they started working on it when Travis Strikes Again released
- core team from Travis Strikes Again to No More Heroes 3 hasn't changed, but they have added in more people
- takes place roughly 2 years after Travis Strikes Again, and the games are directly connected
- Suda51 is going to talk to Marvelous about bringing No More Heroes 1 and 2 to Switch
- the team wants to try new stuff, bring over elements from Travis Strikes Again, strive for 60fps, and make it the best game possible
- gameplay will be a lot closer to No More Heroes 1 and 2
- Santa Destroy will be part of the game
- scale of the game is still being worked on
- Travis Strikes Again was made to get fans ready for No More Heroes 3
- the team will most likely include some 8-bit jobs to the game
- some sort of collaboration with other companies for No More Heroes is something Suda51 would like to do
- Travis being in Smash Bros. Ultimate would be 'totally awesome,' and Suda51 would love to see it happen
- Suda51 wants fans to ask Nintendo to put Travis in Smash Bros. if they want it to happen
I've been going through different Ganondorf deaths and Twilight Princess has Ganondorf stabbed through the chest, which would kinda link to the hand beam thing that seems to have him pinned down.
That would be the biggest kick in the nuts since Skyward Sword. They setup all this training and school stuff, even have female knights, write Zelda as a cute, bubbly and confident character only to make her be nothing but a vessle of the Goddess.
Now I'm scared because BotW had the same writer as SS. Please learn to make the main girl a good and not a bad PLEASE! You're all inspired by Miyazaki and he got lots of those! Don't fucking ruin this, whoever you are!
Ye I would say it's TP Dorf too but with how BotW handles the past, it might just be a reference to TP. Then again, all the Dorfs throughout Zelda timelines are the same person. So this could very well be closer to TP then WW.
Unless they update the model to have both injuries... Would be silly but we do have WW references already in BotW so why not give a bone to TP fans.
Okay, but what if the Twili are actually aliens? Since short hair Zelda was a unused concept for her, what if they use the "invasion" idea or at the very least, alien idea.
Silly thought but would be neat. Some Bloodborne/Lovecraftian level tier fuckery as you progress thru the game.
As someone who's only experience with a Zelda game was a couple hours on a copy of BOTW borrowed from the library, what's the deal with Ganon/Ganondorf?
I know Link and Zelda are typically different incarnations of the same people across multiple timelines, but is Ganon the same dude every time and Calamity Ganon from BOTW just his rage and malice given a primal form?
Speaking of Twili:

Gimmie those nightmare freaky looking guardians and giant enemy crabs Nintendo!!
If they're getting beta/unused content for this sequel they better bring back Shen Gaoren too
Originally in Skyward Sword there were two lesser gods that sought the power of the Golden Goddeses, the Triforce, for their own desires, Demise and Hylia. Demise sought it to conquer the world, Hylia sought to protect it from evil forces. Hylia managed to defeat Demise and seal him away, but couldn't finish him off. So she reincarnated as a maiden, Zelda, and sought the help of her Hylian friend Link to claim the power of the Triforce and destroy Demise for good. Link managed to slay Demise, but Demise cursed him and Zelda with his hatred, that it may follow their descendants and forever reincarnate.
This hatred much later reincarnated as Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time, the King of the Gerudo, who went mad with power and sought the Triforce to conquer the world. From Skyward Sword the blood of the goddess, and her power, lived on through her direct descendants, while the 'Spirit of the Hero' reincarnated constantly across time to aid her against Demise's hatred.
In the climax of Ocarina of Time things get iffy. Link and Zelda defeated Ganon and the Seven Sages sealed him into the realm between dimensions, with him vowing his return. Zelda then uses the Ocarina of Time to send Link back in time seven years to live out the childhood he was robbed of for this divine quest. But Link, still an adult then, informed the younger Zelda in the past about Ganondorf's treachery and he was captured, tried, and executed.
This ended up creating 3 timelines:
Adult timeline. This is the 'bad future' in Ocarina of Time where Link defeated Ganon and sealed him away and Link returned to the past. Eventually, Ganon made good on his word and returned to rampage. Without Link to oppose him, his devastation could not be stopped, so the people prayed to the Goddesses, who flooded Hyrule in response. This leads to Wind Waker, which leads to Phantom Hourglass, and then Spirit Tracks.
Child timeline. This is the 'past' after the end of Ocarina of Time where Link tells Zelda about Ganondorf, then leaves Hyrule. This leads to Majora's Mask, and later Twilight Princess.
Downfall timeline. This is an unseen timeline where Ganon defeats Link at the climax of Ocarina of Time instead, claiming the Triforce and turning the Sacred Realm into the Dark World. This leads to Link to the Past, which leads to the Oracle games, which leads to Link's Awakening, which leads to Link Between Worlds, then Zelda 1, and Zelda 2.
So it's a whole mess of timelines, and Breath of the Wild seems to have all them converge back together in the end. The main takeaway is each Zelda is a new character, each Link has inherited the Spirit of the Hero from the previous Link, but generally Ganon is the same person, resurrected constantly by evil forces. The one seen in Breath of the Wild is his malice and rage, merged with Shiekah technology, determined to resurrect at all costs. He's lost his marbles and any semblance of his humanity, existing as a dripping anger demon and little more. If the mummified corpse shown in the sequel is indeed Ganondorf, then that's likely his ancient human body long ago before his spirit became Calamity Ganon.
Actually, either its a floating isle OR Hyrule Castle is actually the tip of one of the Sheikah Towers that has yet to rise.
Would reveal the entrance to the depths of Hyrule but would require all of the energy from the surface to access, rendering the Shrines and Towers of the surface unusable (so to not have to create a save transfer system or having to re-enable them in game), forcing the player to the depths which would be a whole new map.
Maybe even invite the player to find new entrances on the surface using the placement of the Shrines/Towers, unlocking new traversal options in the depths and new secrets.
There's a lot they can do. Now to wait patiently at the very least 2 years or so, to be generous.

new fire emblem looks fantastic
I had a question about this, do fire emblems typically have a Japanese voice option because those English voices are very...not good.
