My main concern for BOTW 2 is that the lead writer is a hack who manages to make the dullest, most boring version of whatever premise he's writing. When they say it's darker than Majora's Mask I'm expecting it to be superficially darker but without any of the emotions or heart that made Majora's Mask good.
Because fuck you that guy isn't going to be able to create anything remotely near Darmani's Song of Healing cutscene, or the Gibdo father.

A Gerudo Male allied with the Zelda of the time to seal away Ganon but gets corrupted in the process and sealed by that very same Zelda, who's arm is potentially hers.
This could be reinforced by the parallel in the "grab hand" shots in the trailer. One is Link being grabbed by the glowy hand and the other is Link reaching for Zelda's hand in the same fashion. Could be a hint at this very theory in which an ancestor of Zelda sealed Ganondorf and either severed her arm or this is what's left of her power.
I mean, BotW Zelda managed to keep Calamity at bay for 100years and with very little of herself lost while Link was in slumber and lost all memories.
Now imagine what 10 000 years of holding back some would do to you. No shit Ganon it's spewing out. That's all that remains of whoever sealed the corpse.
More notably, if you look closer at the TurboGrafx-16 mini, there are titles with CD-quality music on them, which is actually a big deal!
So happy that Nintendo is using cut content for BOTW such as Hyrule Castle rising into the sky.
And possibly Link losing an arm, assuming that's what is happening in the Trailer when his arm Glows.
