That's not true. You can now but Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, and Resident Evil 4 for $10 more than everywhere else.
Just get the Wii one if you haven't already, people. It's still the definitive version.
I highly doubt they need to publicly test stuff considering Mario Maker 1 exists and only had a *very* small handful of bugs that were quickly fixed.

Somewhat Nintendo related I guess. I've been trying to get into FF7, am I playing the game wrong or is it supposed to be borderline unplayable?
The Switch port has a 3x fast forward function and the game is still an absolute slog to power through. Take one step, random battle consisting of up to 30 seconds of mashing A and occasionally healing. Take two more steps, the exact same battle happens again. Exploration and backtracking is impossible unless you have the patience of a god. As I mentioned, all this is at 3x speed. Does the game get better eventually?
Sorry for the rant, I'm just kinda frustrated that the game is hailed as the best game ever when I can't understand how people manage to play through it in the first place and I'm wondering if there is some trick to enjoying it. Cloud as a character doesn't really help either.

I like turn based battle games just fine, loved Chrono Trigger, the Mother games and the Mario & Luigi games (not sure if those count)
What makes them work is that you actually see where enemies are and when they attack you. No enemies on the screen? Feel free to explore!
If you hit a dead end in FF7 and have to go back, you might as well just restart the game and take another path on the second try to save time.
And knowing if he likes JRPGs in general or if he takes exception to this one contextualises his complaints.

"Supposedly" they say it's a new entry, but yeah most likely the Contra collection. I do wonder what are the other 4 games. Contra 1 is the arcade version and we're also getting both Arcade and NES version of Super C, and Contra III of course. Contra Hard Corps is a no brainer, and won't be surprised if they add any of the GB ones.

What's not hugely likely but what I'd like to see is a reveal for a new 3D Zelda, while expanding on Link's Awakening remake as the "while you wait" title. A Prime 4 situation but with actual footage of some kind. Just a short visual trailer like BOTW's original reveal would be fine.
