Switched from the longsword to the greatsword. Full armor and excellent reach gives you all kinds of flexibility. Barely ever need to halfsword with decent footwork. Now to work on my fashion stat.

everything about that clip is perfect, even better is the fact that his corpse just flies off the screen with him screaming like some dumb goofy skit.

Also better that it's one of those guys that advertise fucking CSGO skin selling websites on their name.
And here with feints, chambers, and morphs we can politely toss that trash right into the fuckin' sin bin because there's enough layers to keep fights interesting without turning into contortionist wars.
I just noticed that the crossbowman on the loading screen is an idiot: If he shot his crossbow then his fingers would be fucked. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/166040/733ba0e5-295a-4afe-97b0-2a50de3ec63e/somethingswronghere.jpg
no no no, you see ivan, it prevents him from shoot the inaccurate for fear of losing fingers

I've definitely seen some toxic bullshit in chat, both on frontlines and duel servers. However I'd just like to share that I've had some positive experiences with chill players that displayed a lot of sportsmanship in duels, and those experiences are way more memorable for me than some edgy assholes. Unrelated, but I've finally gotten to level 30, allowing me to make this 'Siculo-Norman' Knight build, loosely inspired by some other dude who made one on leddit https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/211435/017c8531-b487-4c2c-8b8f-978aba8296c2/siculo_norman.PNG Too bad there's no proper 12-13th century full torso hauberk, this one is alright but it's got all these buckles and shit that totally modernizes the look imo. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/211435/a27eb567-f087-45dc-a822-6237be92bfd0/flemish.PNG I also made a Flemish militia boye ready to pulverize over-zealous French knights
I dunno, I've seen people do full 180 u turns after starting a stab with a billhook after the end of sprinting away to make ground. I've seen a few things that seem really close to that sort of contortionist shit
I'm pretty sure those are the very macro moves from chivalry
I can't recall if the tutorial mentions it, but it's worth pointing out that you can use positioning to accel or drag an attack as well. For example, if you are swinging to your right, you can get the weapon to connect nearly instantly by stepping forward and to the left, so that the enemy is right where the weapon is when it starts the actual swing. Conversely, if you step forward and to the left, the weapon won't connect until the very end of its swing. Combine this with moving your aim to adjust the position of the weapon and you can substantially alter when the swing connects. By the way, if anyone's having trouble with chambering- I had a hard time getting the timing right, before I realized that the enemy's swing has to connect with you while your swing is still winding up. Having to match the angle of the enemy's attack is more forgiving, it's the timing that matters most. In general you can chamber by looking at the weapon and left-clicking while it's coming at you. Once that clicked for me it became pretty easy to pull off.
Can someone repost that Dr. Doom cosplay? I need something new to work towards.
https://i.imgur.com/H6FLEow.png Not really intended as a Doctor Doom cosplay, but it does the job.
Thanks! If anyone else finds other versions as well don't hesitate to post it for a diamond.

I think I'm just gonna go full engineer since I suck at the combat so much. I tend to get more xp and gold that way.
So far the majority of my time in chat has been pretty good to be honest, especially on duel servers.
In-game and forums are two wildly different worlds. Trust me.
god people in frontlines get so fucking mad if you're using anything other than a 2H sword, it's absurd if you're not using either an executioners sword or zwei like everyone else, you're gay!!!!!
yeah, it should only be from like 10% base damage to 100% base damage, never over 100%
Naked beyblade is an amusing strategy that your team hates, because they get decapitated on the backswing. Firebombs are a reasonable option. Better question- eveningstar or executioner's sword? They're both slow big damage weapons, but which do you like more?
Not being able to cleave unless i kill is a bit of a deal breaker, so if I had to choose it'd be executioner. I honestly prefer the battle axe to both of them though, or one handed axe if I can't get the load out points.
grad is my favourite map because of all the parkour possibilities i love joining red team and rushing to blue's castle ballista. impale some blues to the trees and as soon as you see some random knight climbing up the castle to cut your head off, just parkour your way all over the castle lol
god horse combat is so fucking fun in this game I cant get over it if I see another clown with a dagger steal my horse and then instantly drive it into spikes ill be very angry
honestly it's a lot of fun to play rounds of Home Alone style on grad skirmish. It was hilarious, we had like a team almost full of bear trappers and a few engineers to make spike pits or door traps, and a few mounted bows at the top of red spawn and just try and trick people into getting a good ol' metal foot massage or jump into a bed of spikes
I like bear traps but I end up putting way more time and effort into figuring out placements where my idiot bumblelord teammates won't charge directly into them long before the enemy does than I do actually catching the enemy.
I run a engineer trap build (Arming Sword/Bear Trap/Toolbox), a tactic I've noticed to be somewhat effective is to put a beartrap in a chokepoint such as a door and then build spikes very close behind it, almost but not quite on top of it. Teammates can run up and over the beartrap due to the height of the spikes, keeping it active. Enemies will get tunnel vision on my spikes and will walk on the bear trap while attempting to destroy said spikes. Try that out and tell me if it works for you too! You won't get many kills but it's always hilarious when you do.
twas I who posted it, here's my dood: https://i.imgur.com/O6r9bdU.png
