I actually quite like the non-feral ghoul design in Fallout 4, but I don't really like their hair/wigs. The sparse wispy hairstyles looked better, made a lot more sense, and helped to better distinguish ghouls from humans at a distance.
Yeah but, if you became a ghouls, would you not wish to look like your former self? I know I would
To be fair, ghouls wearing wigs would be pretty common.
And It's not like there's a shortage of hair donor in the wasteland, if you know what I mean
TBH I think if there was a middle ground between the appearance of the more cartoony 3/NV ghouls and the more zombie-like ghouls from 4 would look best
if there were more visible signs of mutation in ghouls like vestigial third arms n shit from massive amounts of radiation exposure ghouls would be a lot more interesting that the generic zombie things we have now
I don't dig non-ferals eyes being completely black though, it just doesn't look right.
I haven't really had any interest in F4NV (because I think the engine looks and feels like dogshit, even if it's objectively more versatile) but damn that looks hot.
I wish and hope there was a mod where you can take a portable turret with you.
There's so many instances where a stationary gun would have been a life saver.
Like an engineer in TF2 or OVERWATCH, it could be a collapsible structure that you could take with, in dire need, you throw down this toolbox and in a few seconds BAM a basic turret.
Perhaps you could upgrade it too.
And it'd have to weigh a LOT so you're not just breaking the game carrying 30 of the fuckers.
I'd love that.
I think it works on some of them, makes their faces look more skeletal- but on a lot of them they just end up looking like aliens.

There's this mod that lets you take a dismounted Browning M2 around with you. It weighs way too much to use outside Power Armor too, but it's not stationary.
I know there were some mods for 3/NV that did something like this
You mean like this? There's also this one and this one as well, but I don't know how well they work.
HA well ill be dammed, that's exactly what I hoped it'd be.
Speaking of ghouls, those that have been shown for FO3 and F:NV mods is now also a mod.

MO2 really doesn't seem to mesh well with Nvidia DSR. Works when I just run F4SE and the regular launcher. Not when I run either through MO2.
If anybody else got trouble getting DSR to work (assuming you're using MO2): set your screen resolution to the same resolution FO4 will run on. That's really the only way I could get it to function properly, after trying to match resolution settings in the .INI's.
Built my camp to resemble some of the small train stations in the game:

The sniper tower in back is new, but im debating removing it, because i had to get rid of my big "West Virginia" billboard to build it. since for whatever reason it takes roughly 3/8ths of my budget.
Got sucked right back into F:NV like a crab through an underwater pipe, mainly cos it runs well on my potato laptop. Vanilla's better than i remember, tho it's annoying one tends to only find upgrades for the lower level weapons long after they've stopped being any sort of useful
My enjoyment of New Vegas skyrocketed immensely after I got some radio mods
As good as Radio New Vegas is I can only listen to Heartaches by the Number so many times before I lose my mind
i lowkey love that song. I still whistle that song unconsciously sometimes, like a jackass
There's a new Creation Club Sneak Peak. There's two new guns, two new apartments in Goodneighbor, a weapon from Quake, and customizable Vault suits.
I'm not sure who the guns are by, but the only thing that it could be in the CCC file is by asXas. The apartments are by Tom Seddon/bloodmeat08, who made the Noir Penthouse and mods like the Cyber-Light Apartments, and from the screenshots, they're going to be very much in the same style. The Quake weapon is by Bethesda, and honestly sounds like it'll just end up being a slightly fancier version of the Tesla Rifle. Finally, the Vault suits are pretty much just as I predicted when the records showed up a year ago, you can change the colour and number, and you get the Fallout 3/NV style Vault suits, though they're now classed as utility versions. You'll be able to find them in Vault dressers, and I think it's by AndrewCX, who has pretty much only done this mod.
AndrewCX has a ton of console mods I believe, as he wanted to help them out.
dang that rifle one actually looks cool, wonder if it will still have vanilla animations or not
Rifle looks dope, and is likely the only one I'll buy.
>We're hard at work on more content that we expect will release later this summer, and during the holiday season.
I'm happy they haven't abandoned FO4 for Fo76, even if it is just CC content.
Maybe when they allow custom servers and mods. If that ever happens.
That does make more sense. I'm also kind of surprised we haven't seen F4 CC stuff in the F76 Atomic Shop. I wonder if there's worry that people complaining that they've already paid for it once would firestorm again.
They butchered the 10mm smg in 76 imo. It looks ugly af. Better off waiting for the release of the one from F4CW/F4NV.
I was kind of hoping for the static assets and small items to get imported into Fallout 4. Stuff like the vehicles, printers, set dressing and such. There's a lot of little details in 76 that really made the world feel more lived in that'd I'd enjoy placing in F4. I wouldn't mind the ammo bench or creatures either.
WarDaddy has actually already released a version of it on Gunetwork:

Is it me or do those recoil animations look pretty weak (the ironsight ones especially)
